The thing is DC also did that, that's what earth 1 was supposed to be (current mainline universe is Earth-0 btw), but then they just abandoned it.
Also from what I've heard DC is doing that shit all of again yipee, another universe that will be abandoned after a year.

If I remember correctly a version of Emerald Twilight happened some time during the Nu 52 offscrean, like the insane timeline that has to exist to make half this shit make sense is insane.
Also what they did to Wally will never not be a travesty, imagine taking one of your most beloved heroes, stripping him of all his character and giving it to someone else. God what were they thinking.
