Furukawa (president of Nintendo) said they would make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year, but please be aware that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation in the June 2024 Nintendo Direct.

I'll be surprised if it turns out to be the announcement of Wiz and Boomstick getting a show instead - its the only way I can see this as good news unless Ben is keeping the YouTube channel, they can share the storyboards for S11, got signed by GLITCH or some other umbrella, or they can continue the Casts considering everyone announced their times up unless its going to be an 'well actually, we said RT, not DB'

What do you think the "big announcement" regarding the future of this series is?

If it continues only as a podcast or even something on par with 2011 quality, I cannot believe many people would care. However, the animations the later seasons have featured must cost a considerable amount.

If we lose the animations entirely the show would probably lose a good amount of its audience. I can’t imagine a podcast brining in the same numbers the original show did

They already had a similar content in the channel with Death Battle Cast, more or less. And yeah, it had much less views than regular episodes.

Yeah no way it's a podcast, that's not remotely good news worthy

About the same look as his 90s animated version

Also they pulled that panel of Magneto ripping the adamantium out of Wolverine from the comics, they setting up Onslaught for season 2

If not obvious enough, the spiderman who made a cameo was indeed the 90s one whom crossed paths with them in his show

They cant possibly just do X-men with new seasons and episodes only, they are setting up for the other 90s cartoons the stage in the future
