Rodimus is easy to work with along side Steven and Nova given all three actually has similar scale and less shit forms for Invincible to work which makes it easier for a dynamic and fight

To add on why someone like Gohan stand out as a main issue for Invincible well
Some comments sums it up

"It does kinda feel weird fight wise, dragonball matchups bring characters up to their peak forms to make the fight more interesting, even Frieza went black in his fight. However this would mean Gohan would have to be struggling up until BEAST gohan, which is just downright unbuyable even if you look at the hype of a fight. It’s like if Luffy made Goku go blue. It’s just unbelievable."

"It's more about how the dynamic is poor due to Mark lacking anything that plays off Gohan's increasingly powerful forms, which make it impossible to suspend disbelief due to the difference in scale."

"Meanwhile, high tier Dragon Ball characters operate on an overtly cosmic scale on the regular, so Gohan having a fight with Invincible would just be difficult to believe intuitively."

Like I ain't saying u need planets and shit blown up for a Gohan fight, but you wants someone that can actually match the scale to sell you "Hey this guy is ******* strong enough to match a DB character" for a fight


Like the closest you can argue to at least normies wise was Frieza vs Megatron but the latter had arguments,Arsenal that match Freiza and an something that could be enough debatable to kill the latter while also being structured enough to make it believable

Gohan vs Invincible just feels like a comedy sketch in motion

Ngl I vibe with Knuckles vs Piccolo the most out of all Knuckles matchups. Idk what it is about it but it just vibes for me.

Predictably takes away some of the fun in being unsure about who would win.

Honestly, Death Battle should start using the movies or cartoons rather than comics that a small percentage of people read.

After all, when you think of Superman you think of the games, of the movies, of the cartoons. The comic versions are the most unpopular versions and using them makes every matchup predictable.

Well tbf he lost to Wally with the full speed force behind him iirc.

I think what annoys me about ArchieJuggs is that Juggs is an extremely notorious jobber, even outside of Powerscaling circles, to the point he earned the nickname JOBBERNAUT. He has some pretty consistent uni-multi stuff but anything way above it is super weird consistency wise and like one off statements like when Cyttorak gave him “more power than he ever has before, enough to kill him” which by that point would make him strong enough to just thunderclap the Archie cosmology away and ignore any of the haxx debates lol
