What finishing blow tradeoffs / executions do you have in mind?



For Scooby-Doo winning:
Scooby-Doo licking the God Bone, just happens to love it so much, refuses to return it to Courage and cue thrust him towards the sun, turning it into an imploding black hole, sucking Courage and everything around into it. Scooby-Doo strives to hold off from being sucked into it, while Courage was struggling and lamenting "the things I do for love" before being completely swallowed into it. Then, it turned into a universe reshaping white hole, engulfing everything (including Scooby) into the bright light. Scooby-Doo then appears in a new world without Courage, enjoying his Scooby Snacks and the God Bone.

Yes this is The Evil Entity reference.

Yeah, to be honest with I just take stats here with pure apathy. I don’t really care anymore and I assume a lot of you guys don’t either lol.

If I’m gonna use the site when watching death battle, I’m probably just gonna use it to get a rough idea for characters or series I don’t know very well before their stats are shown off.

Listen not to make it a competition but Mario going from galaxy to island level wasn't as much of a downgrade as Zelda going from Universe level+ to island level.

Honestly I'm pretty apathetic to stats anywhere as a whole because unless it's most egregious wank or downplay imaginable I don't really have it in me to care where certain characters are rated. At this point I just aim to make the profiles for verses I like the best they can be while working with what's allowed within the rules of the site even if I don't really agree with some of it.

Because some verses are more favored then others and thats no secret, double standards exist and only answer you are given is "then why dont you make a thread to change these instead of complaining", as if that is a solution, when its not gonna even do anything besides the same people go against it unless you got more siding you and support for any help

Same old story, certain losers come from nowhere try to downgrade or wank verses, you try to update your verses by putting effort, only to be disrespected by users or some above a user status

Applies to about any site or public media platform revolving around vs debating, there has to be those type of people that think they know all and act like 💩, ruining the fun out of it

I feel a little bad because I’m still planning my 2B downgrade that went unfinished a few months ago cause I’ve almost got all the evidence lined up, and should it go through, losing both 3C and 2B is gonna be rough.

I personally think base Mario is fine as H4C - 4B as a most “consistent” end, but the thread didn’t really agree with me and a lot of those feats are rejected.

They’re talking about the idea of bringing 3C back, but just as a key for Power Stars / Grand Master Luma / Grand Stars based on that thread iirc

Keeps getting delayed cause they keep announcing new relevant games 😭

I now have to wait for the SMRPG Remake and Sonic Dream Team.

Otherwise it’s coming along slow but steady, the Mario side especially has a lot of work done.
 
The worst part about making this blog is that inevitably I will have to complete the modern paper Mario trilogy, which to be 100% transparent I would rather do anything but. But Color Splash has a few big arguments around it so I’ll have to peep it in some way

It's especially painful to think about for me because I'm currently doing my first playthrough of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and, I have to ask, who the hell at Nintendo told Intelligent Game Systems to make the battle system redundant and getting rid of all the unique and original characters in the trilogy!?

...You seriously missed out on Sticker Star's notoriety?

Its an RPG where every attack is consumable item. You dont gain exp. Enemies just drop coins. Except the game showers with you coins in overworld, you lose more stickers than you get money from battles to buy them so running away is best strategy because it also despawns enemies.

And thats just base combat being shit lol

You know I can talk mad shit about Sticker Star for its utterly abysmal quality, and I'm not going to claim for even a second that this game's decent, but I won't be heavily biased because there are admittedly decent parts to SS like Chapter 4 or that one quiz game in Chapter 3. But AC Amiibo Party is just a horrible game everywhere you look at it, so I would say the later is way worse

tbh I’m not even gonna finish Sticker Star. I’ve played far enough into it years ago and genuinely it’s one of my least favorite games of all time so I’m not gonna subject myself to it further lol. I think most things of note for it on a versus lense are documented online anyways
