Perhaps but between OW2 being a disaster and TF2 becoming more niche with each passing year, I'm starting to doubt if there will be any new reps from either franchise in future DBs, let alone runbacks.

This happens for a lot of verses.
Just another tale of what happens when iron is not struck when hot and fruits and crops are not reaped when ripe.
(Compare between the flip on Gojo vs Makima and the (breathes) flop on Killua Zoldyck vs Mikoto Misaka.)
That is what happens, if the Death Battle crew do not allow it to be cooked quick enough.

You’re insane if you don’t think tf2 still isn’t relevant. The game has multiple fan SFM that still hit the millions in views and each small update is celebrated throughout the entire community. Just checking steam charts it’s still in the top 10 above ******* call of duty.

OW literally has been gutted due to blizzard incompetence so I have 0 expectations that a new OW character will appear in Death Battle

I have confidence in Brandon Yates.

He managed to surpass Vengeful Berserkers with God's Hand and Deceptive Tyrants with Final Formers, I have confidence he can surpass Will of the Drill when the actual Kyle Rayner vs Simon the Digger episode is coming out. Just give him resources.

Tbf, Will of the Drill was a much bigger project than Vengeful Berserkers or Deceptive Tyrants.

Medic vs Richthofen
Sarge vs Soldier
and Spy vs 47 was on the ballot last year

so at least three noteworthy MU Involving the game alongside big name characters two of which don't have any competition.

regarding TF2 relevance it still doing fine despite its peak in the 10s as far as SFM content goes


overwatch is pretty Much Carried by **** at this point
