It’s DBX fodder imho, it’s a funny matchup but that’s really all it has. Reimu’s way to goddamn fast and haxxed for Doom Guy to really do anything to, she’d have a million ways to shut him down and Fantasy Nature would make her completely unable to be affected by him. The only aspect that might be close is AP depending on what you buy for Slayer.



It’s not really weak, but the fact it’s so ridiculously high scale is kind of half the appeal of its battles tbh



That just feels like Doom Slayer to me at least, but the pentagram being those two throws a wrench into it.

I'm almost just never impressed whenever I see hunter x hunter(nuclear bomb level Meruem xD, an don't tell me only the poison was lethal) enter the debating scene, an seeing it on DB has just solidified that to me because HxH gets buried six feet under when put up against basically any other Shonen other than Demon Slayer which is an intended to be street level series which is why I don't draw attention to Demon Slayer or Fullmetal as some might bring up as they're street tier, so they have no business facing against a lot of these other shonens and marvel/dc.

Also doesn't help that every Hunter x Hunter MU for DB they don't really stand a chance of winning against, I used to think My Hero Academia was the weakest shonen mid tier verse but over the years as times gone on it's power level has gone up and so have other shonen jump series like Black Clover, JoJo's, Seraph of the End. I dunno man HxH just always gets buried six feet under i want this series to be stronk but it's just much more grounded and...probably at the bottom for mid tiers.

looked over the post analysis for Killua vs Misaka, seems DB were being pretty modest with HxH's scaling.

If you among the most powerful characters in the verse, like Dio, Jotaro, etc, not all can manage to scale that high

Although even with that speed, they cant harm many of their opponents across vs debating, which is why jojo strongest point is hax, needing characters to be smart in fights

HxH just suffers from being grounded in comparison to various series
its funny of the reseachers said this was the closest of this season but i think he meant as far you can get for a MU for killua cause compared to Akame and Black Star Misaka was the only one outta the three that can be BS to be close
