But here's the thing. In the context of Green Lantern, the powers he had from Pre-Crisis all the way to now, remain consistent plus if you want to scale him to other Lanterns, there would be no problem.
Other DC characters can be scaled to one another. Plus if there are feats that separate versions of the same character has done, you could use em for outliers perhaps if they don't fully differentiate from the same character.
