Despite what one of the present company's best efforts, tier 5 Sonic isn't much of a stretch. Even if you use Planet level Shao Kahn he gets speedblitzed.

Maybe, but there wouldn't be more Sonic exactly. Maybe Shadow vs Ryuko and that's it. Other characters have other combatants instead of Sonic characters.
Though Archie Knuckles vs Juggernaut really got my interest.
