Death Battle Hypothesis: Cole MacGrath VS Alex Mercer

Oof.

If they find the endings to be contradictory to the canon endings, then they won't give him Beast Cole's hax (Who last time I checked is the only version of Cole that apparently doesn't get stomped by Alex).

Alex doesn't stomp Cole in any form.

Beast Cole is a stomp. Anything else is inconclusive as Cole is way too strong and fast for Alex to do anything to him, and Alex's vaporization regen prevents Cole from killing him

Alex gassing kills cole pretty handily speed equal (the raysphere plague and sasha's tar don't compare to blacklight) cole only has longevity thus alex outlives cole in the long run if the fight goes on indefinitely (Outliving opponents is now a viable win con) though cole probably could gain some power to eventually deal with alex via his evolution before old age sets in.

On the topic of what Death Battle handling Alex Mercer's nuke "feat". While they treated Carnage surviving the tritium bomb as a durability feat despite him being blown apart by it:

Wiz: Eh, he was fine. Carnage's durability doesn't come from a sturdy build, instead, his form is malleable, and somewhat fluid. Technically, his human body still exists somewhere in that mass of blood, flesh, and writhing tentacles, but even when he's hit by a train, struck by missiles, or blasted apart by a tritium bomb, he can always just pull himself back together.

Popup: At the time, the Carnage symbiote was bonded to Norman Osbor in "every atom" of his body. Osborn also possessed the Green Gobli's superhuman durability.

Boomstick: So long as there's a piece of him still around. Given the size of that blast, it look like Carnage survived a blast worth 125 tons of TNT.

In order for them to be consistent, they'd have to take into account the distance between Alex and the bomb and use Square Inverse Law, since they did this with Mitsuru:

Boomstick: Plus, Weiss and her summons have never dealt damage anywhere close to that "Oh Shit, We're Dead" explosion that Mitsuru survived. By taking the diameter of the blast here and comparing to real life nukes, then considering how far Mitsuru was from the center of it, she took a hit worth over 21 tons of TNT. Definitely higher than Weiss' 7 ton train feat.

Popup: While Ryoji didn't intend to kill Mitsuru and her friends with this blast, that doesn't mean it wasn't dangerous. Ryoji was likely aware of their limits and scaled his attack accordingly.

And using that would only be Building level:

Radius of the explosion = 5.637km

Mercer was over the center of the bomb since he dropped it from the chopper, which has a top speed of 222mph.

At 5:01 he starts to take off from being over the bomb and flying back to NYC. The bomb catches him at 5:11, that's 10 seconds. 222mph = 99.2429m/s times 10 = 992.429m.

I = (75000 Tons of TNT) / 4¤Ç((992.429m)^2) = 5.87828031 * 10^9 = 1.40 tons durability 8-C

Thats ignoring the fact the helicopter had to turn around to fly towards the city, came to a near full stop to drop the nuke and thus wouldn't be traveling at maximum speed as it flies away from the explosion.

Helicopters don't start off with that top speed, so they would need to gradually accelerate to that velocity (along with the fact that the helicopter Mercer was in had to travel to the opposite direction it dropped the nuke at, so it had to basically turn a full 180 degree).

Also, how would you guys react if there's a Death battle for Cole or Alex, but it doesn't actually match those two to fight each other?
