Hello everyone. Continuing our list from here , we're discussing the accuracy of Death Battle. As previously discussed, we will fully update the list once Season 7 hits its midseason hiatus. Below is the up to Season 6 list. I've moved around a few matches due to DB's final form rule and I know that not all of them have been put into their proper place yet.

Rules:

- Non important off calculations don't count.

- If the winner of a stomp is the one who stomps, accurate!

- If the winner of a stomp is the character who gets stomped, highly inaccurate!!

- Joke Battles are ONLY placeholders. (Smokey VS McGruff is not a joke battle)

- Stomps/Blitzes and Joke Battles will be labeled.

- I will rank these each on how good I believe their animation is. (I'll rank them based on what style they're using as well, meaning 3D battles will not be rated higher than sprites just for what they are)

- ATT = At The Time

-Because of revelations from the research team for DB, all battles are to be considered as if the strongest forms of each fighter are used immediately. Because of this, certain battles have different results then when it starts at base. For these battles, the forms used will be placed alongside the fight for clarity.

To start everything off, I'm going to move Thanos vs Darkseid to Iffy instead of Wrong, Decent due to the problem of the two being stuck in different universes (Thanos in 616 and Darkseid in 4th World)
 
The ability for him to bring Thanos to 4th World with Boom Tubes and the fact that the Omega Effect can do pretty much everything the IG can
 
Main problem is, if Thanos is only all powerful in Marvel 616 and Godhead Darkseid is in 4th World, the possibility that the two would incon seems most likely
 
Not really. The Cosmic Cube is weaker than the IG and has fewer hax. Plus, Thanos with the IG is much more iconic
 
Ooh! I just saw that Felicia from Darkstalkers has a profile now. We can analyze her vs Taokaka now and move it out of Iffy
 
Oh, I haven't seen it in years, but looking at their profiles, it's 6-B MHS+ Felicia vs High 7-C FTL Taokaka. Given Felicia's higher AP, stamina, and intelligence, I think Felicia would ultimately win after tiring out Taokaka
 
I agree with their assessment that the match would be extremely close, but since Hawkeye has much faster reactions and more powerful big arrows, he would come out on top

It's fine, I get it. I have a bunch of them to fix. I too want it to be as accurate as possible, but I don't want to overhaul it now since Season 7 will go on hiatus in less than a month

Well, off the bat, Astro's way stronger than Rock, 11930x stronger to be exact. However, Rock is 177.5x faster (410c vs 2.31c). If this was a base vs base fight, Rock would be able to hax his way to victory with his various weapons. However, since he's in his Super Adaptor Form, he can't use his other weapons. I'm forgetting whether Super Adaptor has a time limit or not, but even if it doesn't, I think Rock would realize that physical force wouldn't work and switch back to break out his hax. I think it would take a while, but I think Mega Man would eventually win

60's max speed is 38.8c, so the speed difference is reduced to 10.8x. Still should be enough for Mega Man to dodge long enough to realize physical strength won't work. Even if we scale Astro to Bem's speed from that era (according to the guy who did the calc, we can't, but still), with his max speed of 51.6c, it's still 8.1x difference. Still think Mega Man would win even if we composite Astro
 
How was it concluded that they used Archie Shadow for Shadow vs. Vegeta?
 
Because, first this way before DK vs Knux, second they used backstory and lore exclusive to Archie, third the result wouldn't change if it's Archie or not

Heck, you yourself agreed Archie was used when you watched it awhile ago
