Mainly when somebody dies, the said soul is sent to the afterlife, for dragon ball pretty much the same thing happens, but with sidra's statement if one gets hakai'd then he won't be sent to the afterlife because their overall existence will be destroyed which means their physical body + their souls so yeah it's pretty much self-explanatory (so yeah that's why goku has resistance to soul destruction cause duh he resisted a hakai in base)

Why isn't this in the questions? I don't see any rebuttal so it wouldn't be soul destroying, since the EE in Dragon Ball erases the person's soul and takes you out of the afterlife reincarnation cycle, leading to the being's existence reaching absolutely nothing.
