If Speed in Equal then Sonic wins through sheer versatility. The wisps, Shields and the Variety of attacks that he can throw at Diddy would probably be too much for him. Not casting a vote until I can get both characters AP calcs though.

Sonic is 3 Teratons, so even if Diddy was at the pinnacle of Low 6-B it wouldn't even be a 2.5x AP advantage (it'd be about 2.3x).
