Exept it contradicts stuff here. If it contradicts stuff there too, it should be removed.
 
We don't forbid WoG just when it's baited, it's just that it's the main reason why we don't allow WoG so freely.

I'm going to quote DMB as to why I think it's silly

"If you were to ask him: "Hey Bill, do you think that you beat a being that transcends the concept of dimensions themselves", he might as well have replied with: "SURE, PIECE OF CAKE!""

I even asked the same thing in a previous thread and it was concluded that if Author Statements aren't Contradictory or vague, then it should be accepted.

But as for this thread, I have to agree with Saikou and Ricsi.

Check the Saitama speed upgrade thread and you can see why that argument is flawed in this case.

There's also the fact that some of the things he said in the AMA foreshadowed to stuff that happened in season 2. Major things like achieving physical form and disassembling Time Baby's molecules.
 
Wasn't that refused because Orochi could just have outlasted them?

And wasn't that an actually properly formulated answer where it was more than a 3 word answer

Because inconsistencies mean a character had to be downgraded.

Again, let's put Arceus at country level because he was hurt by a country busting meteor, Pikachu, and some silver water.
 
I'll qoute myself: The argument is that this powers come from reddit and make absolutly no sense in-canon. The point is, a secondary canon contradicts the main canon, and as such shouldn't be used.

Arceus get's his rating from the main canon.

HOnestly, that doesn't matter.

It contradicts the main canon and is from a secondary canon, that is the main argument that you would need to counter.
 
Yes, because vases of someone with precog being defeated when they logically shouldn't have had never happened in other media. Heck, even with his shown precog, by your logic, it'd be contradicted and should be removed. The amount of detail put into that response surpasses that of characters from their media have for their actual canon.
 
I mean As another example with Stellaris, people thought atheists were wrong in Stellaris due to borderline fantasy elements in it, but word of god corrected that they aren't
 
Again, false equivalency. It simply means he's precog isn't that good. Only because other verses have contradictions doesn't mean that we will take secondary canon that contradicts the main canon.

It would depend whenever we decided that the whole reddit stuff is unreliable and it would be cherry picking if we took stuff that is alright or only the ones that contradict stuff, treating each comment as a different and indipendent WoG.

I am neutal about that

Relavistic Geryuganshoop (attack speed), Saitama, Boros and Monster Garou all don't scale to anyone in speed but each other. It doesn't contradict anything.

I agree with the whole '2-A precog' thing being removed, neutral on the rest
 
I also agree with Saikou and Ricsi, their arguments make more sense to me, and if WoG stated that he tends to oversell himself, I don't know why Bill have those abilities in the first place.
 
If Bill won those battles because of his precog, they should be removed.

Without the precog he is much less effective. he could win again, but that is less likely and wwould need to be remade.
 
If the very detailed statement that gives Bill his precog is considered overselling, then I'm a massive narcissist for simply saying I can run a 6 minute mile. There's a massive difference between what Bill said and simply saying "I can do this!"
 
I agree with Cal here. Bill has a lot of wank in his profile but this isn't part of it, even abilities he uses in the show are contradicted with what he later does.

And that's exactly what I was talking about for the Saitama thing. Bill didn't even answer the dude's question. He didn't say yes or no to either of those things the dude said Bill is.

For the record, the Saitama thing was when the interviewer or whatever asked if Gerg could do black hole schenanigans and ONE said idk but Gerg could accelerate things to near light speed yada yada yada.

As I pointed out above, someone needs their whole bdy to be destroyed for that to work. He has low-godly, he created a body from nothing ith his mindscaper form, but it is not due to being erased.
