BFDI Series Discussion Thread

I have mentioned this topic in the past, but I want to upload that profile of A Duck, the recommended characters that competed in the BFDI spin-off on TikTok called Battle for Dream Island Mini, with the character scaling to the main contestants. Not everything that's not a main BFDI episode is automatically non-canon.
I find that, since the contestants in shows such as BFDIM are recommended characters that have appeared in main BFDI episodes, just like characters such as Lollipop used to be, I think that they should be in the same caliber as main contestants. The original BFDIM videos were not actually hosted by Four and Snowball, and even in that YouTube video with them hosting, they said that they took the characters out of retirement and showed an image of one character's appearance as a recommended character in the main series when it was relevant. This should prove that the BFDIM contestants are in fact, the same as the obscure recommended characters from the mean series.

I disagree with BFDIM contestants actually scaling to the main cast. In fact, those who have appeared in the main series were merely standing there as a small cameo, and they never do any interactions with the main cast, making them featless. We have recommended characters scale to the main cast if they themselves competed within (Such as Lollipop, Yellow Face, Puffball, etc) or play a major role (Such as Evil Leafy or Purple Face) in the series, but not all of them are meant to scale if they made no interaction.

Also, BFDI Mini has been heavily shown to be in a completely different universe separate from the main series, such as the moon still being in the sky in one of the BFDIM, Seriously episodes despite how in the actual series, it is in contact with Earth as of BFB 8.

As such, I highly suggest we put a hold on making BFDIM profiles until we can actually get feats done within BFDIM.

I guess it's too iffy to upload profiles of that spin-off if you put it that way. Alright then.

I forgot to address this a while ago, but now that hosts have text manipulation, shouldn't Cloudy not have breaking the fourth wall since Two put the display that Cloudy got bumped down by?

Both feel fine to add.

Interestingly, I made a Spongy sandbox page back then but it was very outdated and I was somewhat lazy to change some abilities and stats.
Thank you for approving of the pages. I shall upload them now. 👍
Also, it's okay, there are loads of other BFDI characters you can make profiles of.

By the way, would you happen to have any intentions to upload Taco and/or Loser next? Now that team profiles can be made because of this, it would be nice to have the Have Nots here.

Sure, tell me whem you finished so I can study how to do It better next(Them I will try Dora)
My spiffying made David's profile have the refinement that the other profiles have. Now it looks ready for uploading. Make sure to add David to the Battle for Dream Island series page using his pre-split BFB voting icon, and place him where he should go in alphabetical order among the contestants that debuted in season 1.

Question before I even think about making Dora's profile, should her be Island level thanks to being a island eater?
Probably not, since there's multiple reasons that probably wouldn't actually be island level (Such as Dora eating them over time rather than destroying them with one attack and the islands potentially not being big enough to qualify for island level in the first place)

First reason is fair, trough for the second she wanted dream island to Eat It, so we could scale from dream island dimension, but yes... The first one is fair enough

Also why does David burning into ash from touching the dude who’s so hot he can literally heat up the Sun classify as a weakness?

That’s not being weak to fire, that’s just not being resistant

Firey burns characters, making them catch on fire, rather than them immediately becoming ashes.

Firey only made the Sun a few degrees hotter.

Furthermore, actually, yeah, Firey heating up the Sun in seconds means he’s bare minimum (Since I’m pretty sure a small object heating up a much larger object as fast as Firey did would require a much greater temperature difference than just the 800 degrees that the Sun’s temperature changed by) over 15,000 times hotter than average lava, so David dying from touching him is in no way contradictory to Dora being able to swim in lava

That’s kind of inconsistent, the first time he hugs Leafy in BFB she passes through his body and is immediately reduced to ash, the second time she bumps against him and ignites, burning more slowly. There’s no one way Firey burns people

He made it 800 degrees hotter in mere seconds, which is magnitudes hotter than any lava (And more than enough to turn you to ash in seconds)
