Alright first of all, Grave should have a significant skill advantage over the girls having vastly more experience and showings of skill than them, while also scaling to some of Vash's feats who'd skill stomp the verse blindfolded.

Although he's beaten in the range department Although that hardly matters due to SBA making them close to one another. Although Team RWBY would have an incredibly difficult time tagging Brendan due to his skill advantage + his ability to slow down his perception of time essentially making them frozen in place. Unlike Vash, Grave is ruthless and will go for the kill right off the bat. They can take a few hits due to Aura but once they run low that's when bodies are gonna start dropping due to Grave always aiming for lethal areas such as the head. Grave also has his Shields which are pretty similar to Aura.

Team RWBY beats him in sheer versatility for obvious reasons and they have the numbers advantage but that's hardly an advantage due to Grave literally fighting hordes of armies on the daily. But yeah gonna have to vote Grave here, he's way too skilled especially in comparison to the girls in this key where they lack plenty of experience and don't have the best team work as of yet. Yang is still hot headed, Ruby is still inexperienced at this point in the series, Weiss still underestimates people and Blake is basically the only one here who can keep a level head in combat.

Anyways I vol 3 team rwby actually can fight good together and use team combo moves and they're versatility together well

Anyways, team rwby have been training their whole lifes basically and have learned how to use their aura subconsciously, Ruby was brought into Beacon 2 years early because of her skill of being trained by one of the greatest huntsman to ever graduate Beacon Academy Qrow

Although by this point they haven't reach Pyrrha or Velvets level of skill

Same for those that Grave scales above, such as Gun-Ho-Gun members and more specifically Eye of Michael members who were trained by the best assassins on the planet since childhood and had experiments done to further the results of this training.

Grave should scale above the likes of lower tiered Eye of Michael members (Note: Even these guys can tango with the likes of Vash albeit not for very long.) and should scale to the skill feats of the higher end members such as Livio and Wolfwood. The important part to note being that Livio has 2 layers of Analytical Prediction.

Razlo his other personality has his own unique form of precognition, Livio later learned how to control Razlo and synced up with him allowing him to keep pace with a vastly faster opponent with their own speed amps while using an extremely unorthodox weapon. Said person also has an "anti skill aura." that specifically hinders those more skilled than her and Livio still managed to beat her via his skill alone.
and have learned how to use their aura subconsciously.
Tbh not sure how this translates into skill.

Yeah but alas, this version of Ruby is still ultimately lacking in experience in the long run. Hasn't had too many high level fights at this point in the series and the girls haven't worked on their flaws as of yet. (I.E Yang being hot headed in battle.) iirc.
Although by this point they haven't reach Pyrrha or Velvets level of skill
Yeah which puts them in danger here due to Grave's Vash level skill when it comes to gunslinging.

Grave's own experiences also number in the decades, from his time as a street punk, his journey rising through the ranks of Millenion as a sweeper, and now his battles throughout the main games.
