After a day of slaughtering all the X-Men, Bass then grabs Wolverine and says "You're not even at my own level and you thought you can fight me? Pathetic." He then disintegrates him with Vanishing World and before he can go and solo some of the Avengers, a big, ugly, grey alien came in and said the following: "Alright X-Men! I'm back from my questionable break and now it's time to kill- WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" Bass then said, "You struggled to defeat these guys? How quaint..."

"Who are you?", Apocalypse asked.

"You're God of Destruction"

"'God'? The only God in here is me. And for doing my job for me, you'll have the position to serve under my wing."

Bass then replied saying, "I don't serve NO ONE! The only one who's going to be serving is you...with your life".

Apocalypse got angry, "Ok kid, let's see how long you'll last then"

Bass then used his enhanced senses and see that this guy is LEAGUES below his power atm. He quickly responded, "You know? An interesting fight wouldn't be so interesting if the fight ends in one hit. So FOR NOW I'll lower my speed and power to your liking if that's ok with you."

Apocalypse responded in annoyance, "I may feel disrespected, but I'll kill you either way!"

(Both 4-B and speed is equal for people who didn't understand the context)
