I understand this is really long, so I'm gonna make a small resume of it. But I do encourage to read the whole thing, because I make more of enphasis on just how terryingly strong is Aizen in comparison to this guys. And explain exactly why, not just what I'm gonna mention next, but more.
The resume goes like this.
1. Unohana says that Ichigo (after the fight with Ulquiorra), that he had similar spiritual energy to her. She even notices and says that Ichigo had less than half of his total spiritual energy. Thus she is arguing herself being weaker than Ichigo Kurosaki in the Fake Karakura Town events.
2. Same Unohana was somewhat holding her own against Kenpachi after being released from his mental blocks. She tanked Kenpachi's attack , and was able to harm him . She was even with him while in her Bankai (1 , 2 ).
3. Ichigo with his spiritual energy fully was already stronger than Unohana. The gap is even further than that when Ichigo uses the mask. And even so, he couldn't do so much as see Aizen moving . He could barely cause an injury to Aizen with full head on Getsuga Tenshou , further more, Aizen was stopping Ichigo's strikes with his bare hands . Considering all that, and the fact the Kenpachi who did the feat was limiting himself, both Hollofied Ichigo and Aizen can easily scale to Kenpachi's feats.
Essentially, base Unohana was weaker than Ichigo in Fake Karakura events. Same Unohana could hold still somewhat fight against Kenpachi without his eye-patch. The difference in power between Ichigo and Unohana increases even further when he uses the mask. And the Kenpachi who did the feat was limiting himself with the eye-patch.
First off, Aizen was a top tier in Bleach since the beginning, that's commun knowledge. But how strong was Aizen while he was Shinigami?
In terms of Reiatsu, Aizen commented that the whole power of the Espadas was incredibly inferior to his own (1, 2), keep in mind Barragan, Starrk, Yammy and Harribel are able to fight against multiple Captain lvs by themselves at the same time and Aizen was even able to Soul Crush both Grimmjow and Soifo in different occasion. Heck, Aizen pretty much specify that he had at least 2 times the Reiatsu of a Captai. And the only ones who seemingly were able to compare with him were Kenpachi, Ichigo and Yamamoto Genryuusai. And I mean comparable not equal.
Ichigo Kurosaki, for example, was stated by Unohana (one of the strongest Captain of her generation) said to Ichigo that with less than half of his Reiatsu was comparable to a Captain and her ow. Meaning the Ichigo from Karakura Town city was stronger than Retsu Unohana, keep in mind, this is the same Unohana who obliterated Kenpachi during the Muken fight, and the same Unohana who was still somewhat keeping with Kenpachi after freeing all of his mental seals. So that means Ichigo in during the events of Fake Karakura Town was stronger than Unohana (doesn't speak of his Hollow form as it was still be barely half of his real power) although could be comparable. All is sure is the Ichigo from Fake Karakura Town was stronger than Unohana.
Yamamoto Genryuusai who was shown and stated that even two Captains didn't stood a chance in terms of comparing Reiatsu (1, 2). And he later even proves it when he completely crushes Wonderwise in terms of strength and power. Same Wonderwise who in turn defeated Kensei while using Bankai. More later on is seen as how he pretty much no sells Koko Gonryo Rikyu (Sasakibe's Bankai). Heck, just as shown in the fight with Wonderweiss he also suppressed the bursting flames of Ryuujin Jakka, which was going to completely destroy Karakura Town and more, yet he is still strong enough to hurt cast Hado 96, which is at the end of everything, which leaves him out of the fight, Hadou that Aizen took without much of an problem. More so he tanked those same flame, considering he can casually burn completely Sternritters, is very well shown just how ******* above them he was. Yamamoto was shown completely throwing back both Jushirou Ukitake and Shunsui Kyoraku to the point the two of them fell on their asses. Was also shown to be far faster than the two of them. So is very well shown Yamamoto was far above a Captain lv Shinigami.
And of course Kenpachi who in the Pre Timeskip was specified as even while wearing his seal was compared as having near equal Reiatsu to Byakuya before his fight with Ichigo, both Kaname and Komamura were being overwhelmed by Kenpachi's strength while still wearing his seal, and when his mental seals were finally lifted he was seen capable of killing Unohana while using Bankai, his Reiatsu was stated to not being able to be felt by his squad and neither Unohana (1, 2) nor Mayuri (1, 2) seemed to be able to detect his presence, a effect that we have only been confirmed before that happened with Ichigo and Rukia (Rukia couldn't feel any Reiatsu while in the same room as Ichigo). Meaning in the Pre Timeskip Kenpachi was at least high lv Captain. Unohana herself was a high lv Captain+. And in the Post Timeskip, Kenpachi is supposed in the novel Spirits Are Forever With You to be above Hollow Ichigo (The one who fought Ulquiorra), not much to say as Hollow Ichigo that fought Ulquiorra was stronger than the Ichigo who was compared to Retsu Unohana. Basically the scaling would be Hollow Ichigo (The one who fought Ulquiorra) > Timeskip Kenpachi Zaraki < Kenpachi Unohana < Ichigo (from Fake Karakura Town, keep in mind Ichigo is even stronger with his mask) <=> EoS Kenpachi Zaraki.
Of course, the difference between Kenpachi, Yamamoto, Aizen and current Ichigo is simply the fact Kenpachi can't control his, and is constantly bursting to the maximum lv. While Aizen, Ichigo and Yamamoto can lower it and rise when need it, perfectly controlling it (Aizen better than the other two). And technically he seemed to be confusing all the Captains during the Fake Karakura events considering they couldn't actually fight him sensing his Reiatsu, and Yamamoto himself needed to capture and grab Aizen to be sure. Of course, there is the problem of having so much overwhelming Reiatsu that people could see it like in Ichigo and Yamamoto's case. But Aizen never really raised his to the maximum like they did. In fact Aizen wasn't even rising his Reiatsu during the events of Fake Karakura Town. More importantly, the Reiatsu that can be seen, simply means that they were overflowing with Reiatsu more than their body could handle, considering Ichigo and Kenpachi at the beginning in the Soul Society Arc could also seemingly seemed to take form, and so did Yachiru's when she raised it a little. So is not necessarily so much as raising the Reiatsu or having it to the maximum, as it is simply overflowing from one's body. So we can't even argue Aizen to be weaker than any than this guys bia those terms.
In terms of strength, Aizen stabbed Yamamoto, who suppressed Ennetsu Jigoku, a technique more than comparable and likely higher than Gremmy's Meteor, in fact considering Yamamoto was taking the overflowing energy of his Bankai and it is calculated in the Teratons, is more than likely higher. He nearly cut Toshirou Hitsugaya in half, same Toshirou who was slapped into the floor by Kenpachi and was taking Gerard's attacks (1, 2), and before anyone even thinks of saying there being a huge difference between Pre Timeskip Captains and Post Timeskip Captains, there is nothing that suggest that, Hitsugaya's power up was training to obtain real Bankai and his matured state, and after that he trained to use better his Shikai, that's all there is to Hitsugaya's power ups, and while is true Kenpachi could have been holding back, there is no reason to say Gerard was. And Remember he also took out Komamura's Bankai with nothing but the air pressure of a casual slash.
And in terms of speed, he seems like he blitz behind Yamamoto, while in the anime is seems as if he had used his Kyoka Suigetsu to get behind Yamamoto, the problem with that is anime change a lot of stuff from the manga. For starters while Aizen and Yama star farther away from each other in the manga than in the anime, in the anime is shown as if Yamamoto had walked towards Aize, in the manga he simply seems like he turn off the flames. So I'm going with it was Aizen's speed which puts him behind Yamamoto. More so, there is the whole quickdraw both Aizen and Yamamoto had before Aizen had stab him, even though Yamamoto started attacking first. So Aizen is faster than Yamamoto for all it comes down to. And sure, there is whole "Yamamoto was aiming to get stabbed in order to confirm if the aizen he was fighting was real", but there are few problems in that plan. You see, saying "There is no mistaking the spiritual energy of the Zanpaku-to that has pierced my entrails.", and "I was waiting for you to stab me", is two different things. Like I said, there are too many things that could go wrong for Yamamoto to have planned that in the first place. Heck imagine if Aizen had decided to drop Kurohitsugi or something worse on his ass, what do you think would have happened then? Aizen stabs Yamamoto, Yamamoto used the moment to grab Aizen. That's it. His plan was to get Aizen and trap him, he used the heat of the moment to use it.
So Aizen is deffinetely close to Yamamoto in speed or maybe even above. Now let's also talk about the elephant on the room. The moment when Yamamoto grabs Aizen. We see one of the two hurt.
Who could it be? Well I'm inclined to go with Aizen. Does it affect the fact of Aizen being close to Yamamoto, no not really. Why? Well that's easy. I have been personally grabbed by people weaker than me, and I mean weaker in all lvs, strength, speed, everything, not gonna say who, just gonna say it was a woman. And by grabbing me hard the same way Yamamoto did to Aizen, I was bleeding. Sure, not a much as Aizen and the damage was simply superficial, but the difference between me and the chick that did it to me is not bigger than the difference between Yamamoto and Aizen, and she didn't went as deep as Yamamoto as she didn't do it intentional. So grabbing someone and making their arm bleed because their nails got in the skin doesn't mean Yamamoto was hugely stronger than Aizen. Specially when takes no damage from Itto Kaso. And no, we can't even say, Yamamoto was completely weakened by that explosion as we see the only real injury he got was his arms being burned down. It wasn't going to affect the Itto Kaso at all as at the beginning we see Yamamoto heavily breathing but after that he is talking normal. So in this one he was deffinetely expecting to get Aizen close and then use Itto Kaso on him. And more so, Aizen was lowering his guard during all of those events to give Ichigo a chance to hit him. Once again, we can't even argue for Aizen being weaker than Yamamoto.
And that was just part of it. Aizen was hugely strong but just how exactly? Well there is the fact that he did stab Yamamoto and no sold Yamamoto's Itto Kaso. And while Yamamoto and Aizen are very close in power, Aizen posses speed above Yamamoto, not even gonna touch upon strength, as there isn't enough basis to talk about it, but straight up we can say they are at least comparable, or even superior in terms of durability. Of course, both are more than likely stronger than Kenpachi (at least eye-patched version of himself). Zaraki is strong indeed, in the pre timeskip, by most of the whole arc he was above Ichigo until Ichigo fought Ulquiorra. Where Ichigo's Reiatsu becomes so high than with just less than half of his Reiatsu, he was comparable to Unohana's. Same Unohana who... well... destroyed Kenpachi during his muken fight. Why is this important when later on Kenpachi kills Unohana while using Bankai? Well, let's put this simple. True, Unohana was defeated while in Bankai but it was just a matter of better fighter at that point. They were still close enough to the point Unohana was even dodging Kenpachi and was fighting evenly with him (1, 2). Sure, there maybe a good difference between base Unohana and Bankai, except that base Unohana was still taking and giving against a full powered Kenpachi. So Unohana was still strong enough to hold her own against Kenpachi. Very interesting when that same Unohana was below this Ichigo as said before. So both are close enough hold their own against Kenpachi (Ichigo more than likely would do better). Ok, if base Unohana could still hold her own against a Kenpachi without any mental limits, and Ichigo was stronger than her in terms of Reiatsu without using the mask, then is more than likely both Hollowfied Ichigo (Fake Karakura Town version of himself) and Aizen are scalable to an eye-patched Kenpachi using nothing more than Shikai, in a casual swing of his sword. Specially when Aizen himself was capable of doing casually parrying that same Ichigo, and stopping him with nothing but his bare hands, and end up with nothing more than a scar in his shoulder after receiving a point blank Getsuga Tenshou from a Hollowfied Ichigo. Heck, Aizen himself said so, his abilities were already unequaled in the Soul Society.
Of course, Aizen does has a limit on how much can he pull off, and there are a bunch of none transcendentals that are stronger than him. For examples guys like Bankai Kenpachi (obvious reasons, cuts guys who could give him some trouble in Shikai with nothing but his air pressure), Ichibei Hyosube (he did keep up with Yhwach, whom cut a worn out Yamamoto in half), Yhwach (obviously), Yamamoto Shigekuni Genryuusai (not a huge gap though), and Ichigo Kurosaki at the end of the series (their full power in comparison to Aizen's own). This one was only Shinigami Aizen though, Chrysalis Aizen and up to his Hollow/Monster form are far stronger than this, easily way stronger than Yamamoto and Yhwach (before he absorbed the Reio), but below FGT Ichigo. Hollowfied Ichigo (the one who fought Yhwach), is easily as strong as Reio Yhwach, and stronger than EoS Aizen. Bankai Ichigo (EoS), is far stronger than Yhwach (to the point he literally one-shot him), and of course stronger than any version of Aizen, and EoS Aizen is only below Reio Yhwach and EoS Ichigo Kurosaki.
