I meant Ichigo ain't the only "hybrid" in the series.
Yhwach would probably be a Hybrid type 5 or higher since basically he absorbs the souls and essence of everyone that dies in combat plus he absorbed the Soul King as well.
Hybrid 4 races mix: Ichigo (Shinigami-Hollow-Quincy-Fullbringer), Hikone (Shinigami-Hollow-Quincy-Fullbringer)
Hybrid 3 races mix: Ginjo (Shinigami-Hollow-Fullbringer), Soul King (Shinigami-Quincy-Fullbringer)
Hybrid 2 races mix: Ebern (Hollow-Quincy), Shinji (Shinigami-Hollow), Rose (Shinigami-Hollow), Hiyori (Shinigami-Hollow), Hachi (Shinigami-Hollow), Lisa (Shinigami-Hollow), Kensei (Shinigami-Hollow), Love (Shinigami-Hollow), Mashiro (Shinigami-Hollow)

The change in how Yhwach gets out of the cage oreshadows Uryu's schrift and it explains why Yhwach never uses Yamamoto's bankai. I think the medallion that was used to switch places with yhwach had Yama's bankai in and shows how Yhwach throws it away like an insignificant peace of art. Unless, Uryu used Antithesis to swaps Medallion's with Yhwach and now owns Zanka No Tachi as we saw in that one part that Uryu's medallion had some sort of blut like when it activated in his eyes foreshadowing the use of Antithesis on the medallion.

So totally random question, but which characters can resist reiatsu crush? I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how high it scales compared to other verses. Like shouldn't characters with resistance to soul manipulation be able to engage in battles with soul reapers? I get that hollows have type 2 corruption, but that's only hollows as far as I'm aware. Cuz making vs battles with Bleach appears impossible.

Humans like Fullbringers, Orihime and Chad have Hollow Reiatsu. Typically, in versus matches we ignore that the other character can't do that so the fight even happenes or there would be no point.

Ebern doesn't have quincy power as far as I know, he's just a hollow that works for the Quincy. Him making his power be quincy themed doesn't mean he has quincy power

To be fair, Ichigo accessed the Vizard aspect for some time, which Hikone never had, though he doesn't use it anymore because it was always an improper addition. Not to say that his hollowification is weaker but his was fundamentally different.

In the flashback in Cour 2 with Young Yhwach vs Ichibei, he said he saw his father's death with The Almighty, he even said he was glad he lost his eyes because he would never see it again. Ichigo saw these visions in a similar fashion in the Irazusando. Does this mean Ichigo is being trained to wield The Almighty?

I mean it’s rather explicit that Ichigo was being tested to see if he is a worthy vessel to replace the Soul King. Given it’s revealed in CFYOW that Ichibe had planned on using Ichigo as the new SK in the event that they had no other replacement. So I don’t believe Ichigo was being trained explicitly for the purpose of using the Almighty, rather taking in some of the Soul King’s reiatsu in that moment just so happened to grant Ichigo that glimpse with the Almighty.

I know he was trained to be a vessel as stated in CFYOW, but considering that Ichigo was said in the manga by Yhwach to have somewhat similar eyes (that is if memory serves me), it could mean something bigger

This list is based on race powers. If we follow your genius deduction of “Ebern” then we have to remove “Shinigami” from every character since is not even a “race” but souls with a title given when joining the Gotei 13. Ebern is a hollow with the ability to use Quincy powers and weapons.

Hollows isn't a species is multiple humans souls fused and the dominant soul is the personality. There is no shinigami race.

Just stop. If Ebern isn't a hybrid, then Quincy, Fullnbringers are Humans, and Hollows and Shinigami are Pluses. Which was the original dumb argument brought forward for the sake of arguing by someone here.
