Dangai form is beyond bankai he literally merged with his zanpakuto both old man zangetsu and white merged together and Ichigo trained with them for 3 months that's how dangai ichigo was born, true shikai ichigo is just his shikai with him having access to his mugetsu level of power only in his hos true bankai form, his hos true bankai is literally the merger of white and old man zangetsu which we see in dangai training, hos bankai is literally mugetsu but instead of one and done attack ichigo can use it all the time.

Aura couldn't be felt by Hisagi until Kisuke weakened her enough, while Hisagi later could feel Hikone's Reiatsu, so Kenpachi wasn't felt by the soul reapers though he is much weaker than TS Ichigo, the logic that "they can't feel your power means xyz" was simply dropped or has a different meaning/understanding than the common thing.

Tbf Ichigo trained , mastered and evolved the 'fraction' of power tgat Zangetsu gave him at that time , TYBW Ichigo never had the same level of training like Dangai. Dangai Ichigo was in a different level of existence beyond other beings which is why his reiatsu was unable to be felt by others. TS Ichigo is on the same level of existence as other Shinigamis , hollows , quincy and humans which is why others can sense him. The whole reason why Dangai and Hogyoku forms Aizen were unable to be sensed is because they were on a different plane of existence and not because their reiatsu was too high. Current Ichigo has higher reiatsu than Dangai version.

I'm holding off until the anime finishes to get a better understanding of the powerscaling.

I did goofy the power he's struck with is taken into his own which is how he one tapped byakuya after absorption the force hit with. He took many blows from bankai kenapchi so he should be stronger

That is, it depends on the damage you receive to get stronger.
