Even if it wasn't him, why would he have his illusionary doppelganger say something which isn't true and could tip the captains off that something's not right?

and he can also control the 6th sense "sensing" going by the novels
 
We can probably backscale Base Yama to Iko since they fought in the past. This was even before his name was taken and his power sealed.

wait so its implied that Yama heavily weakened him so the others sealed him? I thought it was something like he defeated Yama but was defeated by Ichibe

Only summaries and complete translations of any part with Uryu in it exist.

Hopefully BBS actually covers things in detail, otherwise it will be useless for feats and scaling.

VIZ release for SAFWY would be awesome, cause I don't think the BBS translations would be taken that seriously here for CRTs. . .

Barragan is cuz of hax tho. Raw power wise, Starrk, Barry and Halibae are nigh equal. Nel, Halibae and Grimm are shown/implied to be relative and because of the powercliffing, pre timeskip guys not called Yama, Aizen or transcendent are weaker than current Grimmjow.

This doesnt make any sense tbh, Its stated that Post Yammy fight Zaraki can cancel Barragan’s hax. That Zaraki is << Royd < Kisuke ~ Askin < Grimmjow according to our scaling..
So there is something wrong here, Grimmjow should be able to cancel it easily
Also characters like Kisuke and Isshin should scale to base Aizen
 
Why is Kisuke > Royd? Royd was powerful enough that Yama believed it was Yhwach and Royd also died long before any of the statements for Gremmy and SS being >>> the rest of the Ritters.

Let’s also not forget that Kenny goes wild in that novel with his Reiatsu breaking down the walls between the Garganta and a realm, his RC being compared to Sklaverei atomically shredding things etc. He definitely isn’t what you should be using as a standard.
 
I can discuss the Kisuke thing later, now I will focus on the Kenny matter..

This is like saying Yama can destroy Ichibe because the Zero squad statement was said after Yama’s death.
Gremmy’s statements comes from the past, he was known since the past that he is the strongest Stern ritter.
