Another Morgan W coming up.
He also has no way of absorbing the blood of Alucard's soul stock since it's stored in hammer space. It's already been addressed that Mercer's absorption won't work on Alucard due to Mercer needing the requirement of needing to have soul absorption.
I mean we already came to a conclusion that this is a stomp due to alucards mind manip as for everything else mentioned mercer already delt with similar things, the hundreds of thousands of minds in the hive mind in the first game and he lacks a soul so soul fuckery is doing nothing reallyHellsing Alucard would win. I doubt that Virus would even affect Alucard, Considering All Animals Blood, Humans with multiple DNA Blood absorb was Alucard long time ago. You think an Attack from Alex would hurt him?. Alex absorb his blood with countless of souls inside him? Can Alex withstand that level of mindfukery soul level?
The one who proposed the Mid-High Regeneration, RisingIons, suggested that it was most likely the case that Alex got incinerated based on practically the half of his body being reduced to visible vapour on the first exposure of the nuclear fireball. If you want to debate with RisingIons about that scale of Regeneration, you can feel free to do so if he's online - although, his profile seems to indicate that he hasn't been active since 2 years, so I'm not sure how he would be contacted by that point.I wanted to make a thread on the Prototype topic when I have the opportunity.
Its regeneration is clearly overrated, as well as temperature resistance.
The profile suggests that it was burned to the ground and recovered from the ashes, however, we have two problems with this:
1)We were just shown that Alex caught fire, but his body could just be charred, that's all. We don't have any evidence that all that's left of him is ashes.
It's 10 to 15 miles offshore of southern Manhattan - I don't know where you got the 10 kilometers from.2) Alex took the nuclear bomb far out of the city. The city was not affected by the explosion, therefore it was outside its affected area. This means that Alex was ten kilometers from the coast when the explosion hit him.
Considering that we do not see fragments of the helicopter near the place where the bird flew, we can assume that this is not the biomass that remained after the nuclear explosion. This is similar to what Supreme Hunter did when he regenerated from a puddle into which a person stepped.
I mean, there's a virus raging in the city and Mercera DNA here and there.
This looks more reasonable than the fact that Mercer, who actually did not burn to the ground, magically overcame ten kilometers and waited for the bird.
But I would like to hear the supporters of the verse
well actually this might very well result in nearly high regen and type 8 immortality because if we do argue mercer can regenerate from black light biomass around manhattan it would mean that he can manipulate the molecules of that biomass around the city to reform himself and that if any black light biomass is around manhattan that mercer outright can't die if it is thereYou can argue and question the Mid-High Regeneration however you want, but assuming he regenerated from mere pieces himself that he left in Manhattan before the nuclear bomb scene (and that he left one of the pieces near garbage with the trashbags for some reason) seems even less likely than the Occam's Razor of Mercer drifting to shore (which more closely fits the visuals in comparison). You're better off with arguing about Mercer surviving the nuclear fireball but not having Mid-High Regeneration than to argue that Mercer somehow didn't survive the nuclear fireball and that he regenerated from some random pieces of biomass he placed on Manhattan (which Mercer has not suggested to have been doing or being stated to do anywhere).
