All-purpose request thread (New forum)

Hello! I am planning to do some revisions down the line to this profile. But there is one thing that only Admins (afaik at least) can change: the page name.

Can you change the name of this page from Strelitzia to Strelizia? The name of the mech doesn't have a T, so I found it jarring to see it like this.

Thanks in advance.

Can someone make it so looking up Advance Wars redirects to Nintendo Wars? They're essentially the same thing, but while the former name is more known, the latter also includes other series

Is it possible for a mod or anyone knowledgeable on how pages should look to review these drafts real quick?
Note: Some of the Imgur posts depict extreme violence, and some of them (which are marked with an NSFW warning) are incredibly gory.

Thanks to everybody who are helping out here.

I think that we should avoid linking to images depicting extreme gore in the wiki. It is supposed to be mostly all-ages, and most of our visitors are quite young.

Aren't the NSFW disclaimers enough, considering that there's also an advise on the imgur pages before the actual images?

Btw, the pages themselves look ok at a first glance, the only thing I'd change is to not embed too much text into links, to avoid making a wall of blue lines. You don't have to make it shorter, just embed the links to few key words.

You can also remove Naoko's notable attacks section, it's optional and there's no reason to keep it empty.

Finally, her CQC ability is just more weapon mastery, she didn't fight them physically and it doesn't make sense to link it to martial arts.

(btw, I like the drawings and how the scenes are depicted, it seems an interesting manga [edit: Please, don't take me for a psychopath])

If linking the images is still too much, you can make a reference list and write there the chapter in which that stuff happens.

For how to make a reference list, you can check some profiles with them. (several Marvel profiles have them). I also have yet to learn how to properly make one, I don't know if there's a instruction page somewhere.

We run a mostly all-ages wiki. It is better to not risk to either cause harm to any children or get Fandom mad at us.

This is a good idea.

See here for information:

I do not think that Fandom has a much more favourable view of outright gore than pornography.

Oh, if it's about the gore. Then, SamanPatou's suggestion for using references might be the best alternative for linking, though it takes a bit more effort to utilize than simply creating hyperlinks. You'd have to find the feat or the ability in question and as well as finding the chapters or episodes they were displayed in for the reference text.
