Nope. Kratos doesn't have anything to counter Reality Slash, Iä Shub-Niggurath or any of Ainz's instant death spells.

Ainz looks to have better haxx anyway.

E.g. both have Time Manipulation.

Lightning Projection is nullified by Electric, Poison, Ice invalidatio.

Both have Soul attacks.

Both have Summoning.

Life Drai invalidated by Energy Drain Invalid.

Homing Dragon Lightning magic.

Flight.

Grasp Heart aims to kill the target instantly. If the target resists, they get stupefied. Ainz's favorite spell apparently.

Both have Gravity Manipulation.

Greater Rejectio cancels summoning.

Cry of Banshee instant aoe death haxx.

The Goal of All Life is Death instant death haxx.

Wish Upon a Star wishing haxx (unknown for now though).

@Gemmysaur Ainz also mentioned somewhere in Vol.9 that players above level 70 would always have some item that protected them from time powers or something like that, so Kratos's time manipulation is worthless. Ainz's summons are also superior, mainly due to how many he can summon. And many other powers. Ainz can do almost everything Kratos can, and he's probably better at it too.

Plus with bonus mode kratos gained infinite magic and infinite health So he would just spam his magic to Ainz.

Kratos also has golden fleece which items that capable to absorb and reflect any attack from him.

I don't exactly know both characters well, but Kratos is about 50-100 times higher in movement speed than Ainz in reactions meaning that even attacks with large AoE will have a hard time hitting.

Anything that targets has even worse chances of hitting with kratos being about 500-1000 times higher in combat speed.


Greater problem for Ainz is that Kratos starts a good bit outside of Ainz range, while Ainz is inside Kratos range.

Kratos has the opportunity to start dozens of attacks before Ainz can activate any spell for offense or defense and is powerful enough to oneshot.


So as I see the scenario Kratos vastly higher stats in all categories give it to him even with Ainz better hax.

plus Ainz has limited MP, i don't think he can spam his hax every time unlike kratos can spam his hax entire time. He also need time to use all of his buff and set the trap in the arena.

Ainz's mana may not be infinite, but it is massive. He won't need anything more than "Grasp heart" -> kills Kratos instantly, stuns him if it doesn't -> "Grasp Heart" -> see prior -> "The Goal of All Life is Death + Grasp Heart + Cry of the Banshee + Teleport to stay out of Kratos's way for 12 seconds.

Hang on, why is speed not equalised? Kratos is Hypersonic+ to Massively Hypersonic, Ainz is subsonic movement with super sonic reactions. Unless speed is equalised, this is a blitzstomp

Again, equalise speed or this is a blitzstomp. Kratos is Massively Hypersonic High 6-A while Ainz is only a Supersonic 6-C. Speed needs to be equalised here, or Ainz dies horribly in seconds. Only his versatility with his spells are making this even and he loses even that if the speed difference is that large.

How? It's an instant effect telekinetic effect. Also Kratos doesn't have attack reflection listed, so...
