dinosaurs have thick skin. It just stands up and slams the tree with thousands of tons worth of force, would still inflict enough pressure to crack it

It doesn't really matter. Each hit will make its whole skin more and more painful. And it got not only one, but thousands of sequoia-sized trees to take down. It's going to tire itself to death before it can take down all of them.

Just saying, even though a tree is more "durable" and is building level as a whole, a Sauropod can still break it down with the Tree barely doing anything.

I think I'm going with Tree, I don't think a Sauropod can take on an entire forest of trees, each one having Building Level durability and throwing toxins at him.

The tree as a whole has building level durability, one part is only 9-A, and it only grows multipe trees after many years.
