By the time he notices, there will already be plenty. Mostly because his first move is in effective. Also plenty of his stuff is beam based, so he can dodge do to his reaction speed.
The clones can spread more fire, making more clones, who spread more fire and more clones, etc. I fail to see how he can deal with that.

I mean does it matter?
Meramon’s main form of damage isn’t done by force exerted but by hot fire.
His durability is also unimportant because of regen and intangibility.

The issue here is simple the telekinesis here.

1 Has he been shown to hold a large number of objects at once, because of the spreading and duplication, a vauge but definitely large amount will spawn.

2 can he even hold something like fire? It isn’t exactly solid. Have you tried to hold fire, it isn’t exactly a feasible action.

1- He has. If you look at the scans provided earlier, he can hold dozens, if not hundreds of objects at a time. Actually, by the counter, it’s got to be at least 5,000 Objects at once, which is some impressive Telekinesis.

2- He’s shown manipulating Clouds with his powers, interacting with and reflecting Energy with his powers, and more. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say he can manipulate Fire as well.

Even if he can he still will have to do all of it before getting sufficiently burned considering how hot it is.
