Fifth Round of the 8-C Brackets begins (again, lol)!!! Our contestants for this round are Batman (Post-Crisis) and Ruby Rose. Click here to see our current standings.

This is pre-timeskip Ruby, and Batman has his standard equipment. Speed is equalized.

Batman - 11 (Blah, Standuser, Pheonix, Jinx, Gargoyle, Callsign, Ricsi, Thefir, Arrogant, Velox, Rebuble, Litentric)

Ruby - 2 (Weekly, Kiryu)

Ruby is .6 Tons, bats is .2. A 3x gap isn't a stomp. Scratch that, Ruby is a little over 1 Ton, although that's not an AP Stomp, I think. Bats still has a variety of abilities with his tech that should be taken into account, too.

I suppose we should look into whether or not Bats can Stat Induce her, then.

For example, he could do this once she gets close.
 
He needs to do that instantly and it's incredibly unlikely he will

IDK if this is a stomp or not but if not, Ruby by going for the Kill immediately.
 
I mean, the starting distance is several dozen meters. With speed equal that gives Bats an oppertunity to take cover and go stealth.

Truth

Sure, but if he ever attempts to get in a physical confrontation or try to restrain her, she breaks out and one shots

Plus, Speed Equal doesn't help at all, as Ruby's blitz worthy speed amp can let her catch him off guard that instant.

He's stronger then a feat 7x weaker then her, and he doesn't have a casual Scaling chain
 
Because that gets him killed instantly cause AP

Also @Dargoo, are you sure he's .2? That's 9A+
 
Ruby probably starts off by shooting him before he gets a chance to get to cover. But it probably won't bring him down. After that Bats should be able to win with his stealth and via using electricity and freeze ray to slow her downfor his stronger attacks.
 
Batmans got the higher intellect, the better experience, the better fighting skill, the higher versatility with his gadgets.

Oh, and the fact that Rubys only made weakness is 'cant fight without Crescent Rose', so all Batman really has to do is put the scythe out of commission and then beat up the little girl for giving us V5

Just gonna point out that ruby is 1.42 tons, not .6 tons, and yes she does oneshot on top of speedblitz ING with her semblance
 
Ruby also isn't close to helpless without the crescent rose, the 1.42 ton feat she has was done when she didn't have it
 
Superior intillect wont help much when your opponent can speedblitz you and is strong enough to severely injure you with one attack

Bats' suit is insulated against electricity iirc but she should still be able to freeze him and gravity dust makes her even daster via rifle recoil
 
The thing is

I don't remember her ever actually using her semblance to speed blitz someone

The literal only time pre timeskip was in the food fight, if you even count a joke fight where Pyrrha got knocked out by Ruby even before she used her semblance and using it as a legitimate case.

BTW, yes, superior intellect actually does help you+aim dodging+4KM distance+Stealth.
 
She used it to speedblitz roman, as well as grimm basically every time she fought them

Aim dodging won't help you survive an attack strong enough to kill you that is moving faster than you can react when the attack isn't a projectile. Ruby doesn't speedblitz by using a gun, she amps her own speed, there's nothing for bats to aimdodge
 
Anyways I'm going ruby, higher ap, enough of a speedboat to speedblitz bats hard is more than enough tongive her a win on top of freezing him solid with ice dust and a majority of his equipment not being useful against her sue to aura
 
Also has anyone actually given reasoning as to why bats wins? All im seeing is him being more versatile but that wont help him here
 
What?

She didn't speed blitz Roman at all.

He literally reacted to her semblance and shaped her with a projectile.

Also the reasoning follows as.

Stat Dropping+Intellect+Stealth+Versatility+Gas+Disarming her to where she doesn't have a weapon

Her only advantage is AP and he crushes in everything else.
