I mean, you restricted offense but their defence is still bonkers. Chief has an 8-A shield and Cap has a High 7-C shield. The only way they're harming each other is through close quarters combat.

Cuz Captain America allowed to attack with his 8-B shield but not defend with it is just...weird to say the least.

Well Winter Soldier has managed to grab Captain America's shield from him in close quarter combats, but he has Class 50 (and Class 100 via the new calc that's not yet upgraded) lifting strength while Master Chief only has Class 10.

Although Master Chief can catch him off balance and blast him like Iron Man did.

I mean I guess it's still fair if they don't attack with anything above 8-B, but that just makes it a battle of skill and attrition.

That's not a bad thing, it's personal preference honestly.

There's a vs thread about it fighting T. rex in shallow water too, but that kinda died out.

Cap physicaly scales to a 0.44 Tons feat, while MC is either baseline or 0.34/0.64 Tons, so i ma count that Cap has the AP advantage here

However, it is only in AP, MC actually has passive 8-C+ dura with shields, albeit they are not forever, they can regenerate if he takes his distance after he is hurt, the shields clock at 1.2 Tons IIRC

So Cap has the AP advantage while MC has the dura advantage for some time

As a hand to hand combatant, MC takes this hands down. To not give Cap a bad rep, the guy received prob some Militar training, but Chief received the best training a ssoldier could have in his time, being able to best some ODST soldiers who are also very skilled on their own when the guy was only 14 years old.

IMO, the combination of the regenerative shields and being more skilled than Cap should give MC the win here, even though he is slightly weaker.

Those are not the 8-A shields, think of like, a protective layer around the armor to soft the hits, when they break, they can regenerate after some time the Spartans don't take damage for some time
