I’ve been reading through these and keeping up with the additions so other than the Malice calc everything seems fine to me, although I’m not the most knowledgeable about some of the more esoteric abilities.
Nice. The Ekeri fight served as a nice culmination of everything Lindon learned so far and the Harmony fight was great as an introduction to what Dross can do.
Yeah, saw this earlier but didn’t know all the details. I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes. Hoping this is successful enough for them to expand.
“No need to apologize, Palaria,” Morgan said with a small smile. He took a quick look around at the surroundings and said “We’ve still got a good deal of time left. How can we put that to the best use?”
Oh yeah I remember that scene with the shield guy. That was awesome. I’m looking forward to seeing what you think of Ghostwater now. It’s one of favorites in the series.
“I see. Thank you for sharing and apologies if I was being too pushy. I just hate the idea of walking into something feeling like I’m missing a crucial piece of information.” Morgan said with a slight bow of his head.
He looked up at Palaria as she spoke and noticed her expression, “Looks like you’ve got something on your mind. Does it have something to do with this attack?” He asked. “If so I’d appreciate it if you’d share your thoughts.”
“Well documented.” Morgan said approvingly. He had trained and sharpened his memory quite a bit over the years so he was able to memorize the information in the booklet pretty quickly. “Plenty of good intel here.”
“A compliment huh? I suppose that’s one way of looking at it.” He said with an amused look.
“So combat right of the bat,” Morgan said after Vera finished her explanation. He made his way over to Palaria and Rassilon to get a look at the booklet, “Any information is a valuable weapon. Let’s see...
“Yeah, that would do it. We’d definitely have made note of someone like that.” Morgan said with a chuckle. He had never taken the time to really look into the situation around her but he was sure someone in the business had.
Morgan’s eyes widened and he said, “I’ve heard of a power like that before but I’ve never seen it. Turning everything into a gamble would make things interesting if nothing else. Can’t say it’s really my style though.” He was genuinely excited to learn about everyone. Gathering information was...
“Haha! You’re certainly confident I’ll give you that.” Morgan said putting his previous thoughts aside and smiling once again. “I suppose that makes sense though. I’m looking forward to this as well.”
He's certainly going to be...interesting to work with, Morgan though as he sighed and turned to look at Za'zhirr with a flat expression. Certainly thinks highly of himself if he's going to be that disrespectful. Wonder what his problem with humans is?
Morgan studied their new leader more closely then he had before. Putting someone you know you can trust in charge of a group like this was the most reasonable course of action and she seemed capable so he had no objections. He was intrigued about where this path would take him and what it would...
Listening to her speech confirmed a lot of things that Morgan had already suspected. His family knew plenty about the issues plaguing the kingdom. The exact purpose of calling all these people together had become clear and it was exactly inline with what Morgan was hoping. Besides, the breakdown...
Seeing the Queen's face, Morgan made a much more respectful bow and responded, "Of course not your highness. It is an honor to be invited to meet you in person."
Morgan briefly glanced over at the beastman, surprised by his comments, but kept his thoughts to himself. Parlor tricks? That invisibility and the cloaking were both excellent. Didn't feel a thing.
Morgan looked at each individual one at a time. He recognized Albus but couldn't quite place the others. They really were called here by some fascinating people. He gave a slight bow and said, "No need for apologies. I am just glad to finally be able to meet you."
Morgan listened to the conversation intently and nodded to himself. He had heard a few scraps of information related to that through his work but nothing very concrete. He didn't think this would have much use but you could never tell how valuable a piece of information might be.
He sighed but had an amused look oh his face, "If that's what you want." he said. He had no reason to make a big deal of the pronunciation and it was kinda funny.
(That's fine. It honestly probably makes more sense that way.)
Morgan's smile grew at that and he responded, "Of course I will. Glad to see that our services have been of use." He briefly wondered just what the beastman had acquired from them, be it goods or information, but it wasn't really...
Morgan listened intently to all the details that these people shared and filed them away for later. He had already heard a few things that piqued his interest or that related to things he already knew. However he figured that he should make an introduction of his own. "If we are introducing...
As he approached Cairne, Morgan deactivated the illusion he had shielding him. He wanted to make sure he made a good first impression and didn't want anyone thinking he was trying to sneak up on them. Adjusting his jacket and running a hand through his red hair he approached the gathered group...
Yeah, pre Blackflame he was just outgunned and he didn’t really have any skills to use besides empty palm. From here on he gets a skillset and is more comparable to some of the people he fights.
I can definitely see that. Many people I’ve talked to agree that the series has an overall slow start. It starts ramping up pretty quickly in my opinion. The second book introduces one of my favorite characters so that was where I got really into it.
After the initial surprise Sena hesitantly responded. “It’s just that keeping myself and everyone else alive is already at the top of my priorities and your pain seems to run very deep. I want to do whatever I can to help but I understand that we aren’t super close just yet and trying to push...
Sena looked as though she had something to say before setting it aside and instead saying, “You can count on me. That’s something you can trust me to handle.” Deciding it would be best not to push to much harder for now.
