Seriously, I don't know whether to be amused or frustrated. Took some time off the site to deal with some issues, and this place is almost just as I remember it.
Like, we need more good in the world right now. Outside of vs threads (and maybe even inside them) where we force them to fight for...
Yeah, they're dead now, but if FGO 2.0 is going to save the world (which they are), then there'd have to be some way to bring everyone back. A reset or something.
It's simple story logic. IF Nasu has the balls to end the story with everyone dead AND the Lostbelts destroyed, then, well, I will...
'Cause it's not 'from time to time'. It's all throughout the entirety of Part 2.
In Russia, Ritsuka--who I'll remind you has seen Tiamat in all her destructive majesty and the struggles of the heroes in all the Singularities--gets BSOD'd by the simple question from Ivan, of whether he/she's...
I actually want to discuss something about the most recent event.
Would it be a spoiler or can I assume everyone's seen it at this point?
Also, does anyone think the Crypters are getting a bit too much story focus? I mean, it's supposed to be the story of how Risuka saves humanity, and now it...
I see. Thank you.
I wonder if anyone remembers the resolution to resume the discussion of Abby's Tier after we moved...because someone made a profile for her, and that seems to have made everyone forget about it.
Finally I find time to get on here.
I feel awkward. Everything is awkward. I don't know my way around this place.
Can someone catch me up on everything that's been happening?
What ability? The ability to talk? You never make it clear what her eyes do. I assume they look at things, also power null against magic and death hax.
There's this Monster Lord Cruelty thing, which apart from sounding like a mildly insulting headline from an isekai newspaper isn't very...
Mozart reveals it all as a big trolling prank, and tells a sex joke.
Da Vinci has a good laugh with him about it, and the two go on to have an in-depth discussion of the finer arts.
Honestly...that's the most likely outcome.
@Peter1129
You know, you did make me write that wall of text with your dismissive response to my opinion.
I'd appreciate it if you actually responded to my reply.
It was a gut feeling. Plus my disdain for the Crypters and those who've already starting calling a certain someone 'Brodime'.
Seriously? It's like we've already forgotten what they did to our Chaldea (along with all the staff inside) and Da Vinci. Like they've forgotten the reason we're running...
Chaos doesn't really do 'can erase', more like he 'erases just by being there'.
Also, where is Beast VII's picture? That T-pose should be preseved for posterity, if nothing else.
...And does anyone feel that Ritsuka is getting less and less important to the story? I kinda feel that way, like...
Small correction: this is not King David, but David when he was just a blessed shepherd.
Hn, it's tossup. Billy's definitely got the quicker draw and his gun is by definition superior as a Noble Phantasm, but David surpasses him completely in terms of Mystery and raw power. Not to mention, he...
Huh. I guess this is the time to brag a bit about how me and my brother made it work.
He started first in JP and pulled me in later, but we decided that we would do better pooling our resources into one single shared account. We would each whale for our favorites, and if one got an SSR for the...
No, no, that's not it.
Nemo took a...cup or mug or whatever of Hephaestus first and left before the Cerberus attacked and Charlotte went wild.
Ah. I see.
Still disagree he stomps Orion.
And Charlotte had the Athena nanomachines, not Zeus. Chiron definitely had them, Caenis had Poseidon's, and Kirschtaria I think also had Zeus.
I'll admit I'm biased because I hate Kirschtaria's guts (would not mind stepping on him tho, he's handsome and looks...
Kirschtaria doesn't stomp Orion, although I VERY RELUCTANTLY agree with the 2-A thing.
However, one thing to note is that he's only this strong literally because his Magic Circuits are connected to the whole cosmos by the Alien god. He wouldn't be able to use that meteor otherwise. I think he's...
I'm back! What did I miss?
@Dragnoir @Lance
If we're talking extra enhancement that comes from fusion,. then allow me to present you with Paracelsus + Medea + Circe.
They basically cover any and all bases of magic you could ever imagine. Thought-based? Say hello to Stheno, an otherwise...
@Timberg
That's really just King David you're looking for. The Archer we have now is blessed shepherd David.
Cain? I'd guess Avenger...but I'm afraid they'll twist his character.
I had enough of that in Salome. I don't need Cain treated like that too.
Yeah. What I'm saying is how unfair it is.
It's like that King's Quest game, where the protagonist becomes a knight by winning a competition. And the only reason he DOES win is because the judges have, in a show of blatant unflinching favoritism, decided that they want him to win.
I like the...
Actually, come to think of it, WHY is Orion Grand Archer?
Gramps is literally the first human that can be called an 'assasssin', so it makes sense. Solomon...well, he was maybe the most blessed person to walk the earth after Shepherd-turned-King David. Merlin is literally the most globally...
Eh, let's face it.
The only reason we're holding up Arthur and Arturia is because they're the OG Main Character who made an appearance such as theirs.
Grand Rider might be Noah, though. I think.
@Lance
Eresh overrode the rules of the Underworld to give her protection to Gilgamesh, Merlin and Ritsuka (this is canon story) and his/her Servants from Chaldea. This allowed them to fight Tiamat in the Underworld with Home Field Advantage (the four big buffs you get at the start).
This...
This account belongs to my brother, but I'm a girl, Lance. (Not that there's much difference--he's sitting right next to me.)
Yeah...I think I better ask you for a crash course about the rest of this thread before I go on.
It wouldn't.
Inshun will dodge, block or deflect it. His NP isn't a special attack but the entire set of techniques he's learned in life and granted through his legend. It's basically a passive ability minus being actually passive.
Cu is hopelessly outskilled here.
I see. No wonder Beast Zero got mad at me, huh.
Well, consider the Mystery issue dropped.
It first came up in London, then the material. And it's referenced numerous times throughout the rest of the story, but sometimes they're really vague because Holmes obviously has something he's not...
Inshun's NP basically means he can't be caught off guard, and will always survive surprise attacks. And after seeing something once, he will have a technique to deal with or counter it the second time.
It's a very unfair NP.
Inshun's spear doesn't count as a projectile unless he throws it, which I've never seen him do.
Cu gets Skill-Stomped, unless he has some other ability to make up for that gap which I don't know about.
Sorry Best Doggo.
I see...so Kubera is locked too?
Ah, that's where you're wrong, Lance. 'Mystery' is defined as 'anything and everything considered supernatural', so an argument can be made for equalization.
Holmes does not directly decrease something's power by making it more known. It's just a side effect...
...consequence.
Oh yeah, also there's Solomon's Ten Rings which grants control over all Magic. AND Sherlock Holmes' ability to decimate ALL Mystery* by way of his scientific logic (boosted by all the scientist Servants in the Composition)--basically, this composite Fate thing can immediately...
Yeah, like I said I had high hopes. A story with someone completely OP is not necessarily a deal-breaker.
One Punch Man is practically the same (in terms of not finding challenge), but if we just look at the works themselves, behind the weird webcomic style, the manga is deep and funny and...
Wow. Damn.
Well, of course somebody's already thought about it. So much for my original idea...
But yes, Mandricardo is right on the money when he says 'Chaldea is truly a terrifying place'.
