Mario is infamously a pretty toxic verse to deal in, and working on one pretty obvious CRT in the past still led to a great deal of controversy for months to follow. I like Mario games, but the supporters on this wiki and in the broader scaling community make me hesitant to engage in it here.

    I don't know that the dimension itself would actually matter these days? Our standards are hazy on it. We used to just use the explosion calc, like here- but that standard may well have changed without my knowledge, or these calcs may no longer be acceptable.

    However: I was fairly sure we already had calcs of the nature you're saying, that used that method.

    Uh, you might hate me for my debates regarding Classroom of the Elite verse (which has a long story behind it). I am much annoyed by the TR supporters myself and them showing up in every Tier 9 verse thread (secondly, I am not a TR bro, and yeah, I have participated in its downgrades, but mostly in against as many feats were considered wack).
    However, this verse is Gintama, a verse which I don't have any knowledge about and cannot argue even if I want to. I just calculated a feat which Zetsu sent me and I don't think it would be bad if you only ignore CRTs of Tier 9 verses if you want to stay truly safe from TR supporters. Anyways, thanks.

    I understood the request. The reason I extend this embargo to calc evals is that it often requires me to then debate with supporters/detractors about why I took that stance, why is that the way it is when it's so obviously wank/downplay/what have you.

    A calc is not just a calc for these verses, and require more effort than they appear. Good luck.

    Hey there; thanks again for the evaluation. I apologize for the confusion about the using the star and the core. Unfortunately, even with the smaller size of the core, it still resulted in FTL speeds, so the calc is cooked. Thank you though, for pointing out the mistake I made with the distinction of the feat being the core, not the whole star, and for bearing with me despite coming to the wrong conclusion, and methodology.

    Okay so there are 3 abilities that use a reaction action to either reduce the damage, and 2 abilities that can transfer that attack's damage.

    and i forgot the rest. So Iron kingdoms: requiem the currant edition of their RPG is an OGL game using D&D 5e. (The verse started as a OGL of 3.5), i made a calc about an ability with sunburst that you look at last month. I was wondering if you thought it would be better to use one of the 3 abilities that are reaction to the damage of the attack. an example reinforcing the powerful field just listed as damage reduction in this edition has the warcaster using their magic to boost the durability of their forcefield to reduce the damage they take from an incoming attack.
