    I was wandering in my random "what-if" thoughts and suddenly some things got me curious.
    Can someone come back from being reduced to a Tier 0? In any way whatsoever?

    Additionally, if an entity exists purely as thoughts, and holds to the preposition "I think, therefore I am", with that is the only thing or quality that's differentiating the "I" from a Tier 0, and letting the "I" have distinctions, would something that reduces the "I" so much so that it changes into the preposition "I cannot think, therefore I am not", would that reduce the "I" to a Tier 0, or would it just make it go purely "Nothing"[in the truest sense as you describe here]?

    Hey there Ultima. I have a question regarding ontological transcendence. So, to ontologically transcend something (Low 1-A to 1-A, 1-A to High 1-A), one must work in a different, ontologically superior framework right? So my question is this :

    If character B "transcend" character A who is 1-A, with the context behind "transcend" here is proved to be :
    1. Exist in a different framework
    2. Superior to character A's framework

    That would make character B High 1-A, right?

    If yes, wouldn't that mean the act of "transcend" here be the same as ontological transcendence?

    I have a question here, I think it might be a good thing for the Supernatural characters (Chuck, Amara, Jack and the void).

    The void, as stated in the series is a non-physical place where The Angels and demons go when they die. This space lacks time or space, as those aspects are unique to Chuck's narrative and he cannot affect the void.

    It is a place where reality in its entirety is just inserted. And according to the new BDE features, this may qualify for 1-A. Plus there is more evidence I can gather to avoid the anti-doings of your avatars.

    What do you think? This is just a raw thing, if you think it may come to work I can gather enough evidence from the series. Even if you are not convinced now, if you have a little doubt whether it is "yes" or a "no" I will try to bring the necessary evidence in a future thread.

    Hello there Ultima. You seem to be an expert in Tier 1 revisions. A while ago, I think you said you'd look over this God of War downgrade thread that I made, but it was closed before that could happen. Now, I do want to reopen it, but it would be helpful to get staff support so that my thread doesn't get immediately get shut down again.

    Anyways, the arguments here essentially boil down to me saying that none of the "evidence" brought up is sufficient to demonstrate that God of War has 5D cosmology let alone 5D in a substantial enough manner to warrant Low 1-C. Basically, the situation is that God of War's cosmology has multiple realms that exist separate from each other that are unable to be traveled between save for special methods such as portals. The linked post is basically the only one that all the rejections are based off of. There's also this but the argument isn't coherent at all and it's just a bunch of non-sequiturs. Anyways, these facts of the cosmology are taken as meaning that these realms are parallel and thus embedded in higher dimensional space. The issue is that these realms are finite and are never even said to be universes. The most we know of their size is that they contain galaxies, but that's obviously not enough to warrant infinite size. Note how even in the cosmology page, there is no evidence of the Nine Realms being universal (which is infinite by our standards unless space is curved or cut off) in size. Only ungrounded statements and extrapolations. And of course, finite dimensions can exist within a larger space of the same dimensionality while neither intersecting nor having to be parallel, so they don't have to be embedded in higher-dimensional space. And the reason why realm travel is generally limited to special methods is not because of some sort of parallelism, but because Odin sealed off travel between realms. That's it.

    Another problem is that even if we assume it is 5D, there is no proof that it is fully-sized. Thus, the proof for Low 1-C is insufficient, since there is no proof that its 5D volume is any more than just 0. Even if we assume they're parallel and embedded in 5D space, that's not enough for 5D. You can look through the entire thread and even the previous ones or the cosmology page and there's no proof of sufficient extension in the 5th dimensional axis to justify Low 1-C. The closest they get to this is Planck claiming that the branches of the Yggdrasil extend infinitely in 5D space, therefore they must extend substantially along the 5th axis which is obviously a non-sequitur. It has already been pointed out that this is flawed logic as even a 4D object can extend infinitely in 5D space, that does not make it Low 1-C.

    Would you be willing to open the thread? Maybe support my side if you're convinced?

    Based on your input, would you agree to the following AP:
    • Original Creator: 1-A
    • Pillars: 1-A (Given weakened Celestial Worthy's ability to influence the Astral World and God Almighty being its ruler)
    • Great Old Ones: 1-A, Low 1-A, or Low 1-C? (These entities are stronger than Gods but aren't classified as Pillars)
    • True Gods / Sequence 0: Low 1-A or Low 1-C? (Considering their dominion over everything derived from these essences, do you think Low 1-A is more fitting?)
    I believe we can move forward with whatever you decide on this.

    Hello, Ultima. I have a few questions about the both type of characters that make up the tier High 1-A+
    Regarding High 1-A+ "type one" characters(the ones who can affect all possibilities but don't embody them):
    1. Given that they can affect all possibilities, are they all equal in terms of raw power?
    2. Can a character reach this tier despite only being capable of destroy possibilities?

    Regarding "type two"(The ones who embody all possibilities):
    1. Can there only be one per verse simmilarly to tier 0, or can there be more characters that collectively make up the framework of existence? Like the abstracts of Marvel but on an absolute scale.
    2. The concept of Mahapralaya reach this tier and type if despicted correctly? It is not the totatility of existence, but it can dissolve it.
    3. Characters who are the vehicle for a tier 0 to create all possibilities, like Azathoth to the supreme archetype, are this type of High 1-A by virtue of having created everything even if they don't embody those possibilities, or are they restricted to type one?

    Depends on what's meant by "aspect." In principle High 1-A+ would be obtained out of that in virtue of the character being the "medium" for everything the Tier 0 can produce (e.g. The Tier 0 is the dreamer and the High 1-A+ is the dream itself).

    A multiplicity of aspects would really only contradict the principle of the tier if it introduced multiplicity in essence to the "interiority" of the Tier 0 itself. If the aspects in question are separate from and below the undifferentiated super-essence, that's fine.

    Someone asked me if the following would be an applicable tier 0. Note that this is not a specific verse, but rather a philosophy. But just curious if this kind of thing would be a tier 0.
    God is also said to be a simple substance (§47) but it is the only one necessary (§§38–9) and without a body attached (§72). Monads perceive others "with varying degrees of clarity, except for God, who perceives all monads with utter clarity". God could take any and all perspectives, knowing of both potentiality and actuality. As well as that God in all his power would know the universe from each of the infinite perspectives at the same time, and so his perspectives—his thoughts—"simply are monads". Creation is a permanent state, thus "[monads] are generated, so to speak, by continual fulgurations of the Divinity" (§47). Any perfection comes from being created while imperfection is a limitation of nature (§42). The monads are unaffected by each other, but each have a unique way of expressing themselves in the universe, in accordance with God's infinite will.

    Leibniz uses his theory of Monads to support his argument that we live in the best of all possible worlds. He uses his basis of perception but not interaction among monads to explain that all monads must draw their essence from one ultimate monad. He then claims that this ultimate monad would be God because a monad is a “simple substance” and God is simplest of all substances, He cannot be broken down any further. This means that all monads perceive “with varying degrees of perception, except for God, who perceives all monads with utter clarity”. This superior perception of God then would apply in much the same way that he says a dominant monad controls our soul, all other monads associated with it would, essentially, shade themselves towards Him. With all monads being created by the ultimate monad and shading themselves in the image of this ultimate monad, he argues that it would be impossible to conceive of a more perfect world because all things in the world are created by and imitating the best possible monad.

    Leibniz indicates that a world is a set of compossible things, however, that a world is a kind of collection of things that God could bring into existence. For not even God can bring into existence a world in which there is some contradiction among its members or their properties.

    When Leibniz speaks of a possible world, he means a set of compossible, finite things that God could have brought into existence if he were not constrained by the goodness that is part of his nature. The actual world, on the other hand, is simply that set of finite things that is instantiated by God, because it is greatest in goodness, reality and perfection. Naturally, the fact that we are here experiencing this world—the actual world—means that there is at least one possible world. In Leibniz's view, there are an infinite number of possible worlds    .

    I'm not that knowledgeable on Leibniz' Monadology, so I can't really say for certain.

    Granted, if this stuff was verbatim copy-pasted into a verse, I wouldn't give Tier 0 to it at all, no. The fact he also makes God into just "the greatest/simplest monad" further hampers thing too, I'd say.
