  • I have many responsibilities on this site, and this means I only wear each hat for as long as is necessary. Therefore, you may leave CRT/calc eval/whatever requests, and I will try to get to it, but understand that my time is limited and I'm normally already tapped for some wiki policy matter or maintaining the wiki management threads or handling account issues for users who never seem to get things right. Low priority requests include tiershit, particularly active verses, and discussions with a lot of active staff voices already present. I'm not saying "no" but I probably won't get to them. If I don't reply, smart money says it won't be me to get to it. Sorry.
Hello, if someone gives me permission to post their sandbox for a CRT, will I be allowed to or does it have to be mine?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
If they give you permission, you can post it.
I got a question that only you can answer,

In a hypothetical scenario, what should I do if a verse I work on posting calcs, creating CRTs, or just posting versus matches. And everyone doesn't want to touch anything related to that verse because they dislike it, what should I do? My option for something like that is to migrate to other wikis but what's your opinion about it?
    Mr. Bambu

Lots of people can answer the question :)

You can't force people to interact with a thread. It doesn't really seem like other communities would avoid the problem, though some may be more predisposed to some things than others (like SpaceBattles being less interested in some weebshit but more interested in things like Star Wars). There is also the consideration of what your end goal actually is; if it is just to interact with people over a certain verse, moving to a community that likes that verse more might help. If it is to present the information as VS Battles does it (that is, to a large audience with the level of peer review we have), then you're sort of stuck for options, I think. Most non-VSBW places get by on the argument of freedom, as opposed to critical inspection. If your goal is just to make the profiles, and you don't especially care about peer review, there are definitely places that use VSBW's structure without our need to verify and inspect everything; this would seem like a better fit, imo.

If you did want to stay on VS Battles with these projects, I don't really have much advice beyond keep at it, many mods (including myself) try to give extra attention to verses that specifically receive less attention. Without knowing your CRT work that well, I'd also suggest, abstractly, to try and keep CRTs concise, while also making them impactful and not too frequent. There are shitloads of CRTs in the ocean of VSBW, and it seems to me, from the review side of things, that many users sort of like to engage in what I will refer to as "CRT Feng Shui", in which they will constantly generate more and more to micro-adjust a verse, rather than trying to get it down the first time. If there's nothing much to add, we will relitigate some past issue, ad infinitum. Review fatigue comes in, for me, when I am asked to look at a CRT that is the third iteration of the exact same topic in the past year. CRTs with clearly acceptable content (not vague extrapolations) that are meaningful are more likely to be handled than the usual dross, because they don't require the same workload, even if they have the same amount of content.

On a personal note: I have many, many verses that I have added to the wiki, most of which have no other supporters around. I have been in the shoes of a user who makes CRTs for something rather niche, only to have it receive no real traction or attention. It is what it is. I wish you godspeed, no matter your choice.
Hello. Can you look at this? I just uploaded it. It's from an accepted calc, and pretty straightforward one.
Yo can u accept my posts they need to be accepted

No they aren't. You outright stated that you couldn't even see the scans. You didn't form them. You might have the verse knowledge to discuss the feats, but the arguments are not your own.

They're literally all already on Mikeys profile, I literally jst expanded on them based on my knowledge of the feats.

would you mind evaluating this CRT? its a pretty big deal
    Hola Senyor,
Would u like to evaluate this minor CRT? Thanks in advance!

err its my country's spelling of senor as a Celebratory shout for Santo Nino's Festival
IDK why my post deleted when I wanted to delete a comment I sent twice but here is a summary https://vsbattles.com/threads/ayanokouji-full-strength-contextualized.189543/

Ayanokouji and other White room students do not out scale the rest of the verse physically because they have dozens of statements where it states it, and to make sure there was no confusion or a "that was never said" situation, I listed multiple versions from online to the physical book version. Then I listed a scaling chain with every feat and statement relevant to my point that provides proof that the verse is not separated by AP/Durability, but by LS, skill level, intelligence and stamina/endurance. People say he is a unreliable narrator when he mentions his physical limit to keep his incorrect narrative higher, and they will include statements that's are misinterpreted and makes him sound stronger than he is. So so counter this I included every scaling chain statement to prove that the verse doesn't separate by AP or durability and they are all relative

This verse is mainly human level to begin with so a AP scaling chain was never even needed. Yes characters can be one shot but every character can be one shot in this verse, just like in real life. The only person with consistent statements that prove he won't be one shot by even the strongest punches inverse is Albert, due to Ayanokouji who is viewed as hardest punches hits him as hard as he can and does shallow damage, and had to use pressure points to cause him pain and beat him . This narrative was made from a headcanons narrative that has built from people who don't read the story but debate the characters in cross verse matches
Can I get permission to post in this staff thread? I was the main oppositon of the previous crt and there's a lot i need to say

I wouldn't feel comfortable giving permission for a situation I'm unfamiliar with. Sorry.

No problem. I will ask another staff who is familiar with this
Sup Mr bambu, this thread has been going nowhere and I can't seem to get a mod to comment. Can you please we need order restored so we can conclude the thread.
Mr Bambu, is it a rule violation if someone is clearly calling in a bunch of people that have like 3 messages (completely new barely online accounts) to FRA a thread?

To Shion: It sucks to be suggested to be in the wrong, almost no matter what. It tracks to be upset about it. Soul's actions aren't in the wrong.

To Soul: He's right that this isn't a report, though I think it's fair to be upset (to some extent) anyways.

Both of y'all are good, don't let a versus thread get anyone too heated.

For the record I never accused Soul, he is just the OP of the thread. It could be anyone doing that vote stuff I was suspicious about.

Just wanted to clarify that. But yeah, nothing to be heated about.
Sorry for the rant as admittedly I have quite the recollection in that manner.
I kinda wish my brain doesn’t tried to pick up some memories regarding that infamous case.

This case, much to my dismay, just hits a bit too close to home there as I normally don’t get this emotional, but it hits a old wound I wish I can completely forget about without worries

I can see why. For what it's worth, I think Sera was a legitimate sociopath. I think they wanted to feel good and abused others to do so. Conversely, I think Vzearr's goal was just about the verse, and that he couldn't handle the moral implications of what he was doing. Now I think he's struggling to handle the continuing judgment cast on him for those actions. Of the two, Sera was worse.

I was also abused in the Sera scandal. Greatly, towards the end. So I get it, about the lasting wounds. Genuinely. I'd like to think that, with that behind us, we'd be better off in stopping that exact sort of bullshit again. Sera was a vaccine against Sera, see?

    Can you check this out?

Hello Bambu, if you have like 5-10 minutes, could you check this out? (Should be straightforward and really short)
Hello, do you have an idea on what happened to @ActuallySpaceMan42? He's been inactive since last year.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Nothing springs to mind. If he remains inactive too long we'll demote him (normally this looks like six months or so).

Hello Mr Bambu can you check on this CRT?

    Thank you...🥀
Hello, sorry to bother ya but like, I genuienly need votes here, I want this to be over before next year lol

If I had to summarize, a Pokemon is being scaled to the highest tier because
-a somewhat reliable guy said he's the strongest
-it's assumed he's the strongest in the region by the scalers
-he scales to that because there are trained pokemon in the region that are given to you before you explore a cave with all the legendary pokemon. You use the trained pokemon to fight them

    Problem:
-the guy is only somewhat reliable and it's a small one-off statement
-there's no guarantee at all that the guy knows about the trained pokemon in question
-scaling random trained pokemon you are given to Low 1-C has very much been looked down upon throughout pokemon scaling history
-All the (scaling relevant) legendaries are in that cave, all of them fight the same pokemon, nothing indicates that they could get one-shot, in fact, they have a shield against that.
-If all the legendaries are in that cave then literally everyone and their grandma would have to scale to Low 1-C.

    I hate you.

    I'll look into it eventually.

If something is self published on both royalroad and self published on amazon with a kindle unlimited contract but has the audiobook attached to an official publisher would that be fine?
    Could you evaluate this please?

Could you take a look at this CRT?
    Could you share your opinion?

Could you evaluate this thread? i believe it's important within calc member staff? please and thank you in advance

Hi, would you be capable of helping here, or- don't wanna touch the verse atm or ever.
    Can you check this out?

Hello, could you take a look at this CRT?
