The Champion
Early gameInnate:
- Limited Space Survival (can breathe normally on the edge of space)
- Limited Summoning (starfury summons falling stars from the sky)
- Increases Damage from all types of fire debuffs with slime gun
- Statistics Amplification, Light Manipulation (magiluminescense increases maximum movement speed by 15% and acceleration and deceleration by 75%, emits light when worn)
- Mind Manipulation (with purple clubberfish, 50% chance to cause the confused debuff)
- Statistics Amplification (can use kites to grant the high spirits buff, lasts up to 12 minutes and grants 25% increased movement speed, 15% mining speed, placement speed and up to +0.1 luck)
- Corruption and Purification (vile powder is capable of corrupting bunnies, which are beings that cant be corrupted by crimson/corruption, the purification powder can reverse the effects of vile powder)
- Smoke Manipulation (with Smoke bombs)
- Limited Weapon Creation (most guns have a chance to not consume ammo, can also enhance that with ammo box)
- Limited Durability Negation (the Blood Butcherer inflicts blood butchered, Bloody Machete and Harpoon inflict the bleeding debuff, Bone Javelins inflict the penetrated debuff, bleeding debuffs open wounds on enemies despite their durability)
- Limited Statistics Amplification,Teleportation and Intangibility (the Gray and Orange Zapinator will sometimes change directions, multiply its damage by 10x,teleport the projectile, and disable tiles collision on the projectile)
- Limited Damage Reduction (ash wood armor halves damage from lava)
- Ice Manipulation (immune to chilled and frozen debuffs with hand warmer and snow armor)
- Enhanced Transmutation, Corruption, Morality Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, possibly Conceptual Manipulation (Type 2) (unaffected by the Blood moon, which corrupts even the purest of beings that couldn't get corrupted by any form of corruption)
- Explosion Manipulation (hitting an enemy with Volcano will cause an explosion, dealing extra damage and inflicting On Fire! debuff)
- Limited Summoning (the starcrash whip makes minions spawn a meteor that deals 1.33x the minions damage on hit)
- Enhanced Regeneration (speeds up regeneration with crimson armor)
- Limited Weather Manipulation (summons small homing tornadoes with Weather Pain)
- Fire Manipulation (cannot be set on fire with molten armor)
- Water Manipulation (with water bolt and aqua scepter)
- Homing Attack (with book of skulls, magic missile and flamelash)
- Oil Manipulation (can inflict the Oiled debuff with Explosive Trap sentries, making every type of Fire more effective)
- Acid Manipulation (can inflict Acid Venom)
- Enhanced Fire Manipulation (can inflict Cursed Inferno, which cannot be put out and decreases knockback resistance, can inflict shadowflame, can inflict Hellfire)
- Enhanced Fire Manipulation, Ice Manipulation (can inflict Frostbite)
- Life Manipulation (can use Life Drain to improve regeneration, can increase max health by 20% with Lifeforce Potion)
- Mind Manipulation (can use Daw of Pow to make enemies do the opposite of what they intend to do)
- Enhanced Regeneration (palladium armor greatly increases health regeneration after striking an enemy)
- Organic Manipulation (passively attacks with bouncing gelatins with Volatile Gelatin)
- Explosion Manipulation, Energy Manipulation (the Firecracker whip uses blazing energy to burn and explode enemies with equal to 2.75x the damage of the minion)
- Statistics Amplification (the Brand of The Inferno and Sergeant United Shield can parry an enemy's contact damage, giving the Champion a 400% damage boost for the next melee strike)
- Intangibility (becomes immune to the shimmering debuff when using Chromatic Cloak)
- Illusion Creation (the dreamer ghoul bestiary entry states that they can cause mirages and visions, though the Champion seems to be unaffected by using the ankh shield)
- Blessed, Morality Manipulation, Holy Manipulation, Transmutation, Light Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Possibly Conceptual Manipulation (Type 2) (Through Blessings, The Hallow transforms living beings and even inanimate objects into pure beings, transforming even their souls into souls of light, making them hostile towards any impurity and granting them powers based on light)
- Summoning (chlorophyte armor summons a leaf crystal above the Champion's head that shoots undodgeable projectiles)
- Statistics Reduction, Explosion Manipulation (can inflict the broken armor debuff with paladin's hammer, reducing defense, hitting the paladin hammer at a solid block causes an explosion)
- Enhanced Plant Manipulation, Homing Attack, Limited Durability Negation (with vulgar display of flower, which summons homing flower petals on minion hit, having 50 armor penetration)
- Energy Manipulation (Dark Harvest whip uses dark energy to gain whip attack speed, dark energy causes a chain reaction that damages multiple enemies)
- Limited Durability Negation (The Piranha Gun causes the hemorrhage debuff, bleeding debuffs open wounds on enemies despite their durability)
- Mind Manipulation, Nanotechnology (flask of nanites and nano bullets cause the confused debuff)
- Necromancy (the spectre staff summons lost souls that chase enemies)
- Damage Boost (weapons such as Kaleidoscope and Morning Star give the possibility of a critical hit for all minions)
- Enhanced Senses (with Spectre Goggles, can see Echo Blocks, which are invisible normally)
- Limited Durability Negation (Possessed Hatchet inflicts the hemorrhage debuff, bleeding debuffs open wounds on enemies despite their durability)
- Explosion Manipulation (the stynger shoots a stynger bolt, which explodes on impact and scatters many other explosives styngers)
- Statistics Reduction (the Betsy's Wrath causes the Betsys's Curse debuff which lowers defense)
- Electricity Manipulation (the Eletric Eel whip uses electricity which causes a chain reaction on multiple enemies, increasing the damage depending on the amount of enemies)
- Radiation Manipulation (survives the attack of brain scramblers, which attack with short-ranged radiation)
- Homing Attack, Energy Manipulation, Damage Boost (The Constellation whip grants minions a 15% critical strike chance and summons homing shooting stars on hit)
- Summoning, Absorption (the stardust cell staff summons a cultivation of cellular infection, while the debuff states "being eaten by cells")
- Gravity Manipulation (with hooks, can stop the distorted debuff from having effect)
- Illusion Creation, Damage Boost, Limited Durability Negation (the Possession whip grants minions a 10% critical strike chance, if a minion hits an enemy, the minion will spawn many "visions" that shoot beams and have 50 armor penetration)
Bosses:
Lunatic Cultist: Necromancy (can summon a Wyvern's Soul, giving it a physical form), Limited Damage Reduction (takes 25% less damage from homing attacks) Resistance to Homing Attack (homing attacks will not attack the real cultist while performing the ritual), Madness Manipulation (type 3) (the cult caused the entire civilization of the dungeon to live beyond death by making them go insane), Invulnerability (becomes invulnerable to any damage when moving around)
Moon Lord: Regeneration (Mid; after the Dryads ripping many body parts off him such as the brain, Cthulhu escaped to the dark side of the moon to gain more strength, while also appearing to have his brain regenerated), Self-Sustenance (type 1, 2) (escaped to the dark side of the moon, staying there for years before fighting The Champion), Invulnerability (can only be damaged when his eyes and heart are exposed)
Celestial Towers:
Nebula pillar: Intangibility (Nebula Floaters can phase through space), Precognition (predictors are stated to have psychic powers that helps them accurately shoot down foes)
The Twins:- Resistance to: Limited Durability Negation (Immune to Bleeding, Penetrated, Hemorrhage, bleeding debuffs open wounds on enemies despite their durability)
Eater of Worlds: Acid Manipulation (vile spits from eater of worlds and corruptors, which are said to be acid in the corruptor's bestiary entry), Resistance to Limited Durability Negation (Immune to Bleeding, Penetrated, Hemorrhage, bleeding debuffs open wounds on enemies despite their durability)
Dungeon guardian:
1.4.1 Update: Now immune to all debuffs. Previously had the same immunities as Skeletron.
Resistance to All debuffs From Player:- Mind Manipulation (Immune to Confused, reverses movement and cannot use ranged attacks)
- Poison Manipulation (Immune to Poisoned)
- Limited Durability Negation (Immune to Bleeding, Penetrated, Hemorrhage, bleeding debuffs open wounds on enemies despite their durability)
- Fire Manipulation (Immune to On Fire!, Hellfire, Shadowflames, Cursed Inferno, Frostburn, Frostbite)
- Statistics Reduction (Immune to Broken Armor, Ichor, Betsy's Curse)
- Heat Manipulation (Immune to Daybroken)
- Acid Manipulation (Immune to Acid Venom)
- Absorption (Immune to Celled debuff from Stardust Cell Staff)
- (Immune to Slime debuff from slime gun, increases damage from fire debuffs)
- Oil Manipulation (Immune to Oiled)
- Wall of Flesh additions: Regeneration (Low-Mid; can slowly regenerate the Hungrys that are killed)
- Paralysis Inducement (when catching an enemy with The Tongue, they can't move or attack until they get put in front of wall of flesh)
Every Boss should get:
Resistance to Limited Transmutation (Bosses can pass through shimmer unaffected)Enhanced senses (Champion can still be seen by bosses while invisible from invisibility potions)
Non-Physical Interaction (can kill Champion while they are insubstantial from shimmer)
NOTES:
(notes for wall of flesh: he is not resistant to shadowflame, cursed inferno and acid venom, will fix this)
(notes about king slime: king slime does not resist acid venom, he resists bleeding/hemorrhage, will fix this)
(notes about pumpking: he does not resist all debuffs, only on fire!, hell fire, poison, confused, will fix this)
(note: the celestial pillars have a horrible page, none of their abilities are explained and are all clumped together, will fix this)
