Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

then i guess the rules don't mean anything anymore, thanks.
You shouldn't post here btw if you don't have any rule violation to report.

And for your question, if one thread remain idle for more than 1 month then it's considers as inactive, hence that 3crt rule didn't apply to that crt as previous crt is consider inactive.

This is an announcement from the HR group regarding recent private discussions.

We have decided to demote GarrixianXD from their Thread Moderator position in the advent of a recent string of incidents highlighting poor sense of judgment and irresponsible conduct within their position. These have included the deletion of pages and messages without proper staff oversight, the previous misuse of temporary administrator rights to apply ban to users on the wiki (although those instances were later evaluated and weren't rescinded), as well as instances of dishonest conduct off-site prior to and during the HR investigation.

They’ve overall been very helpful as a Content Moderator and Translation Helper, and will continue to have those positions.

Further discussion on this topic is not permitted.

That will be all.

Can we talk about how awful is @ShionAH behaving here?

For a TLDR:
  • Basically insults and gets rude all the time, accusing me to manipulate staff simply because I made more compelling arguments than his in said downgrade.
    • It also lacks any evidence then throwing random stuff from Flowey and stuff to mind the warp of people who don't know Undertale, disgusting if you ask me.
    • Strym pretty much manipulated the Staff to make it look way worse.
    • This is the most disgusting, most insane argument I have ever seen that somehow got a pass from MULTIPLE staff members. I could genuinly jump off a building just to not live in the same cosmos as this piece of shit of a text.
    • Do ANY OF THEM make Frisk DROP THEIR WEAPON, HUG THEM and THEN abondon Genocide? Do ANY OF THEM do this when Frisk is LV 19.99999 RIGHT WHEN THEY ARE AT THEIR GOAL? DO ANY OF THEM DO THIS WHEN FRISK IS AT THEIR PEAK DETERMINATION AND LOVE (LEVEL OF VIOLENCE) or EXP (Execution Points THAT LITERALLY MAKE YOU MORE “EVIL” and “AGRESSIVE”)? Ohh but noo its always MY arguments that suddenly “make no sense” and are “wack”
  • Essentially refuses to add Agnaa's disagreement (who did agree with the SI removal), by saying that Agnaa did not add anything yet, despite other staff members agreeing with Agnaa (1 and 2), and randomly invalidating his vote only because he did not know some information (that ultimately did not impact the argument that much).
Speaking of the second thing, @Agnaa did confirm off-site that his was indeed a disagreement vote.

EDIT: He did put a "presumably" in Agnaa's vote, but it's still vote manipulation imo.

The voting is certainly strange. Looking at the history, it appears DDM's vote was counted before Agnaa's, despite DDM's vote hinging on Agnaa's (as in, DDM's vote was counted, the editing was saved, and then Agnaa's was added in with "presumably" later on). Given this, I would find it at least plausible that Shion at the very least was hesitant to count what seems to me an explicit vote. It isn't so underhanded as manipulation, I think, but it is concerning behavior.

As for the outbursts, that is much less in the grey- Shion has had warnings for this sort of behavior in the past. I do think it bears mentioning that I find at least a couple comments from you, Strym, to not be helping the situation. Still, much of what you're quoting comes directly from the OP, so Shion was obviously on full tilt from turn one. I'll issue a warning for disruptive behavior for now, holding on action relating to accused vote manipulation.

On this thread

@BlackDarkness679 is being quite rude to Glassman for disagreeing with something he posted. Including calling people "Clowns." And a specific post removed by Lephyr was especially uncalled for. And ignoring warnings isn't really helping his case either.
Also that comment + the current vote count is suggesting he's just gonna not count the vote?

Not sure if any explicit rule breaking has happened but this thread cant possibly lead to any good and just tonight has gotten to 5 almost 6 pages and is just going to lead to issues.

This user is still around, and furthermore have not only lingered for awhile but have been kinda escalating (And like, blatantly seem to think staff are against them, at least on the FC/OC side of things but we can't really ban them only from that forum). They did also break a rule overtly in the form of spamming a bunch of different threads here.

Wait really? This thread's meant to handle misbehaviour in threads on those other parts of the forum too?

My bad for not realising that.

Anyway uhh, from what I've seen I think things would be fine with the warning already given for their "assholes" comment, unless they continue making further demeaning comments.

I don't know why this thread wouldn't be shared, since all wikis are based in this same forum, which exists under whatever the vsbw forum rules are. And punishments seemingly transfer across each forum division. Like bans, warnings, etc.

Probably more efficient this way, anyways.
Yeah, I kinda assumed that FC/OC and JBW staff would've been able to apply independent bans to their own subsections, based on their own rules. But I could easily see that not being true.

Minor thing here, @EmbalmerMaster9000 recently made this calc blog which includes a screenshot of a person asking for WoG, and that person seems to be Embalmer.
I would not consider this a WOG statement or whatever like asking if Dante can fart away 190213213 universes after snorting 1 line of crack, this is simply asking how a game mechanic works.
This comment seems to be arguing that this conduct doesn't violate this portion of our Site Rules
Do not pester or harass the authors of various works on social media about versus debating or character statistics. They are often bombarded by numerous questions from fans, and thus are rarely interested in giving a serious response. In addition, the statements they give to appease users are often contradictory to the feats in the stories of the works they have written. Thus, it is frowned upon to bother them over these topics.
I get how this can seem a bit of a blurred line, but I think we should put asking a game's creator for a list of velocities characters' abilities launch objects at, and whether certain factors change these velocities, as something we should not pester a creator about.

In line with this, I think Embalmer should be warned.

Yes, this thread is for misbehaviour in our forum as a whole. It would be too difficult for the much more limited resources of the staff members of our partner wikis to handle it by themselves otherwise. 🙏

Only people with more general admin rights can apply bans from our forum as a whole. I think that without that option available, only discussion thread bans can be applied, not sub-forum bans. Or at least those were the XenForo settings we have had to work with as well as possible. 🙏

Anyway, should we apply a temporary ban and final warning to the member in question? It is mostly up to the FC/OC staff to decide mind you. 🙏

I think that seems reasonable. 🙏

I'm hesitant but I'll sign off on a warning. I think it treads too close to the rule for comfort, although as you say, I think he was within justifiable range of it. It's not equivalent to asking more direct questions.

I think what they're doing is pretty egregiously pushy and runs in violation of our rules, at least, although FC/OC has their own. Given FC/OC's staff ostensible agreement that action should be taken, I'd lean in favor of a short ban to cool off over a warning, as they were in communication with many people (staff included) telling them to take it easy, which they obviously didn't do. If a short ban doesn't work, then. Unfortunate, I suppose. One to two weeks seems appropriate.

Okay. What should we say in their ban reason instruction message? 🙏
