Rule Violation Reports (New forum)

Minor thing here, @EmbalmerMaster9000 recently made this calc blog which includes a screenshot of a person asking for WoG, and that person seems to be Embalmer.

This comment seems to be arguing that this conduct doesn't violate this portion of our Site Rules

I get how this can seem a bit of a blurred line, but I think we should put asking a game's creator for a list of velocities characters' abilities launch objects at, and whether certain factors change these velocities, as something we should not pester a creator about.

In line with this, I think Embalmer should be warned.
Yes that's me, not going to sugarcoat it. I was asking how a game mechanic worked so I didn't have to bother with manually grinding out money in-game to get scans of the player getting launched around by different attacks. I literally linked a video shortly after demonstrating this very thing in-game (how poop hammer doesn't influence the knockback of attacks). I only thought that WoG specifically applied to asking about feats like "can they move at the speed of light" or "can they destroy a planet". I can remove that from the blog and just trudge through getting the scans and nothing would really change. Thank you for pointing that out though, I will avoid directly contacting coders to get specific values.

I don't think what you did was morally wrong, to be clear. But I do think it should probably be avoided, so a warning is sufficient to establish that as the case. As Ant said, one appreciates you being reasonable.
