Hello, this thread is to give an overhaul to the intelligence sections of the characters of the Sonic series, giving some of the prevelent ones touch ups in their descriptions while giving more general ones for the rest, so here we go
credit to @Lonkitt @Fireld and @ShakeResounding for helping me with this
Extraordinary Genius (Emerl is a very skilled combatant and avid learner through its copying ability. By simply watching the movements of others, he can perfectly mimic them in return and even being able to develop new techniques based on the acquired data, with this process having no apparent limit, giving him a highly powerful adaptive battle nature that allows him to even take out opponents that enhance their own battle capabilities mid fight, such as Chaos Gamma who despite going from 150% to 200% of his power output still losing their fight, being left in a state where it couldn't fight anymore. As a result, Emerl has replicated the techniques from multiple fighters, capable of utilizing each of them as a single fighter, including attacks and abilities used against him. This is not just restricted to martial arts, as Emerl is knowledgeable in and has copied weapon-based combat style. His data that was strictly related to Martial Arts and weapon mastery caused Gerald Robotnik's strongest computer to crash upon trying to load it, with him having all existing data on all Martial Arts and Wepon combat of the old age with him, such knowledge being what he used to completely destroy and entire great civilization on his own, even modern complex computers are unable to analyse his data structure without specific modifications otherwise they crash and break trying to process it, the combinations of fighting styles he can do with said data being infinite. Even in modern ages, he seamlessly copied several weapons when given to the military, with him going berserk as a result, something noted to happen when the Gizoid learns "literally all it could" being hinted to be what happened in the extermination of the great civilization, with him even threatening the modern times if his full capabilities were awaken. Fought against Cream, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Shadow, Sonic, and even both Sonic and Shadow at once, learning their techniques in the process, and even being able to blend all of their distinct fighting styles together. Was teached early on how to analyse his opponents movements to fight accordingly.

....and in his constant fights against Metal Sonic, a robot designed to replicate him in every way, but even still losing to Sonic in 30 seconds as well despite the fact of it having the combined skill and abilities of the entire cast of Sonic the Fighters(this part will also be in the rest of the Fighters cast). Has excellent aim, being able to launch things with nigh impossible curvatures with incredible precision. Able to pilot the blue fox rocket with no apparent issue.

....capable of precisely timing his attacks with his opponent multiple times in a roll, canceling the attacks and giving him an opening for a counter attack, doing so as early as his first real fight with Caliburn. Kept up with Neo Metal Sonic after he copied his Biodata, which allows him to also copy one's own intellect for himself, and only need to retreat due to the additional army that was present, which he still said he could handle if Neo Metal was not there. Defied Sage's expectations regarding both his chances of survival against the Titans and the handling of his Cyber Corruption, both of which she said it would be impossible for him to beat. Impressed and shocked the Ancients' greatest warriors and minds alike, the very beings who created Cyber Space, to the point where one referred to his potential as "limitless" and was incapable of comprehending the way he fought nor how he overcame the Titans. Sonic is even able to succeed in areas outside of combat, such as the time where he defeated Metal Sonic after he had copied the data of all the extreme gear racers in the world gran prix, including Sonic himself, and was declared unbeatable by Eggman's own word.

Even prior to G.U.N. training, Shadow could expertly wield a variety of firearms he found lying around on the ARK and during Black Arms invasion. These weapons include those used by military personnel, the Black Arms, or were created by Doctor Robotnik, altho Shadow regular training as early as his beginning days at the Ark. Without any formal driving or piloting lessons, Shadow skillfully operated military jeeps, motorcycles, and small walkers. Could defeat Sonic and the Diablon at the same time. Did exceptionally well in his G.U.N training, which was said to be the true test of his abilities, doing very well even early on with his results being so impressive that it reached the top brass of the organization even impressing their greatest spy/agent Rouge. Has expanded his vehicular skills later on the Modern Era, being capable of operating hovercrafts and jet-powered gliders while taking on multiple enemy robots as well as evading obstacles at the same time, additionally displayed notable prowess when driving buggies, breaking the record on the Buggy Ring Race and stopping several thieves escaping in cars and cleared a motorcycle license test rank that only a few people in Soleanna were capable of getting through. Upon going through another G.U.N. Agent Test, Shadow topped his own record, another test regarded his IQ as being of 200. Singlehandedly defeated Defense Squad Jackal, who were toted as the best mercenaries around. Stated to be Sonic's biggest rival by the blue blur's own word, with him being constantly stated to be a match for him in ability and has fought him numerous times, although a little inferior self admittedly by the time of the Modern Era.

Constantly fights alongside Shadow and Rouge, giving them helpful support. Was created to be able to defeat Shadow, having done so in the original future. Fought toe to toe with Gemerl and ended up in a draw with him. Skillful in using a myriad of weapons within his body, from rapid-fire rotary cannons, flamethrowers, missile launchers, fireball launchers, semi-automatic single-barreled wrist cannons for firing pellets, homing lasers, a double-barreled laser gun that extends from his forearm, drill-shaped missiles, and laser beam cannons that can fire destructive lasers across a wide area.

...Silver is also a combat pragmatist and will use whatever he's got to guarantee a victory, being described as a smart fighter when compared to Sonic and Shadow. He has learned Chaos Control just from seeing it in action once by Shadow the Hedgehog much to his shock, similar to Sonic's own first attempt at the technique. His performance on a training course left a Soleannan Guard astonished, causing the latter to beg the young time traveler to become a guard of Soleanna. Instinctively fought with perfect coordination with Blaze, who he had no memories of at the time(note, this also will be on Blaze's profile)

He is a member of the fairly successful Chaotix Detective Agency, having a keen and analytical mind and experience in investigation, solving mysteries, and gathering intel. Typically the smartest member of the Chaotix. He is fluent in 17 different languages and can quickly memorize books in a short amount of time. Having undergone extensive ninja training, Espio is a master of ninjutsu that uses stealth to make himself undetectable to fool his opponents, additionally capable of remaining as such even while asleep due to his discipline. Capable of defeating Mirror Fighter, Metal Sonic in under 1 minute each and the E-Mech in Hyper Mode within 17 seconds during Sonic the Fighters. He possesses combat prowess comparable to the likes of Sonic and Knuckles, being referred to as one of the two best-trained fighters by Sonic and noted as "particularly skilled" by Blaze, enough to overcome the brute strength of a Chaos Emerald-powered Zazz whilst alone. Additionally processes expertise in ninja weapons with excellent aim to boot.

Zik is a martial arts master with over a thousand years of experience who was once called to be the strongest warrior of all. Is described as having "unparalleled wisdom" that allows him to fight as if he was a quarter of his age and was capable of holding his own against Sonic in multiple bouts even while holding back initially. Is Zavok's master and is one of the only people who have his respect.

He is very cunning, knowledgeable, and observant, as he can research his opponents beforehand, and knows how to take advantage of circumstances. He quickly devised a plan to use Modern Tails to his advantage when his team unintentionally captured him instead of Modern Sonic, because he knew, regardless of the outcome, that by letting Zazz fight him, he would learn more about Sonic. Succeeded Master Zik as the leader of the Deadly Six, being described as a intelligent and highly skilled fighter with a sharp mind and is described as a true "God of War". Fought with Sonic during his time in the Lost Hex and continued to do so in events following it.

Everyone who was part of Sonic Battle's player cast and trained/fought emerl constantly scales to Extraordinary genius due to scaling to Emerl somewhat as they constant fought him and trained alongside him to make him better

Constantly fought and trained Emerl as he gained more Chaos Emeralds and awoken more of his ancient combat data, even being able to train with him after he acquired all 7 Chaos Emeralds.

Others like Blaze for example who are capable of giving Sonic trouble or even get complimented by him (Like Espio) get straight ratings as well, other who only vaguely fought against Sonic and/or helped him on occasion (Like Charmy and Vector) get "Genius, likely higher ([their already existing feats]. Capable of assisting and fighting Sonic in battle, although not as skilled as he is)" ratings instead due to dubiously scaling to him, this also applies to the ones who scale to Classic Sonic(Bark, Bean and Fang for example) getting "Gifted, likely higher ([their already existing feats]. Capable of assisting and fighting Sonic in battle, although not as skilled as he is)", of course, for those with both Classic and Adventure era keys, they will have separate tabbers for the respective ratings

Okay, so, an issue I see is that a decent amount of sentences are run-on sentences (ones that keep going and going without a period for too long). If you read it out loud amd can't do it in a single breath, the sentence is too long. If I have some time, I could help tweak some of this before it's applied.

Also, I believe the Extraordinary Genius Combatant stuff should be handed out with scrutiny. For example, Cream/Cheese don't strike me as one who displays that level of prowess and moreso warrants a "Gifted Combatant" rating.

Appreciated

They can Keep up and competently train Emerl tho, so they should imo

Altered the Sonic Battle part, now only those who constantly fought alongside or against Emerl as well as training him scale that high, the likes od Cream would receice the treatment of downscaling mentioned in the bottom of the OP

I know I said I was gonna stay out of it but I feel like this may be relevant due to how big the justifications are- (honestly it’s more of a problem that could be site-wide, but screw it)

I kind of recommend putting the best feat that justifies the rating first, most feats in Emerl’s section could be interpreted to not be E. Genius (such as the copying stuff, fighting stronger things, etc) and just normal Genius, but if you put the best feat first in the justifications it could be much easier to read and figure out where the justification for EG comes from, and of course… the guy’s best feat- without having to dig around re-reading the paragraph over and over to figure it out.

Just a suggestion, if it doesn’t work with how u format everything else u don’t gotta do it

I agree with this.
