Honkai: Star Rail Discussion Thread

I can think of those like 40k and Fantasy/Age of Sigmar for example that might require separate verse page despite having been proven to have or share the same cosmology. It all comes down to just both verses/games being too big to put under a single umbrella. Imo, it's really a case-by-case basis on what the verse needs, and arguments can be made for either. Idk much about Honkai proper to really say whether they should be separate or not.

11 Dimensional Cosmology comes from both Honkai 3rd and Honkai 2.

As for scaling and feats and hax;
HG2 covers a lot of how the Honkai functions and what it can do, naturally, Honkai 3rd only uses a limited amount of that, but for example Finality characters would get an upgrade hax wise.
HI3rd has scaling that would extend to HSR (via Welt and Void Archives) and vice-versa.
HSR covers general cosmology and has decent feats.
While most of these games have very stand-alone power-sets, they're still interconnected cosmology wise.

Nasuverse is in a similar situation, although their hax are a tiny bit more connected.

Yeah true but speed wise how good is ggz compared to hi3 and hsr?
 
All three Honkai games have less characters (who are noteworthy enough to have a vsbw page for) than the Nasuverse, which has a shared verse page.
There's also way less supporters. I think a merger of the three games would be adequate.

Funnily enough, it ranges from abysmally slow to very very fast.
In early Retrospective, Bronya could easily move at 300 m/s.
Kiana can run at bullet speed casually.
In mid Retrospective, they can fight Kaguya who uses actual light beams as a form of combat (they reflect off mirrors, etc.) which is vaguely Rela+/FTL combat speed.
In Reborn, Wendy can very casually move around tornados at 3000 m/s for fun, but is implied faster.
Jhana can easily move through space at 95% the speed of light.
Kallen can pull a Spaceship out of a Black Hole.
Kiana and Mei can cross the world in a less than a second, the HG2 world being 6 trillion light years in radius, although this feat is very bizarre.
Later Kiana and Mei leave the Universe entirely, though we can't tell if this is a speed feat or them just teleporting.

In the events story, a Black Hole, or rather Honkai Singularity, connects the spacetimes of the two worlds and sucks in the DAL characters.
Tohka absorbs most of the Honkai Energy, becoming a Herrscher sort-of? She's in a state that's in-between Inverse and Normal (according to the DAL characters) and is beat by Mei being good at lesbianing.
 
So is there anything else we need to start making profiles?

It's been almost a year since the game come out i feel we should have had at least a few pages by now

I am vehemently against any of the Jarilo cast scaling to Selee's sub-rel feat. I still think the best scaling is supersonic-ish for Jarilo cast and Rel for everyone onward

Genshin is the only exception purely due to the level of disconnection it has with everything else. It's only notable contribution is being a part of the Honkaiverse, but that's that.
The games on here don't have enough active fans either, so why keep things scattered and separate?
Scaling is also interconnected, so why not just make a unified verse?

I agree, we should actually make a CRT to connect the verse's it's literally a nasuverse situation there's no shot it doesn't get accepted 💀
 
In fact you can argue it's even more clear cut than nasuverse because nasuverse has like 4 different power systems that don't rely on magecraft 💀

That would be a good way to go about it, but tbf connecting the verse's ahead of time would just allow for us to make profiles even more smoothly

Etymology =/= exact meaning.
"不可胜数" is an idiomatic expression (meaning, don't take the words composing it literally. Same how "over the Moon" in the sense of "He's been over the Moon because of the party" doesn't mean that he literally went over the Moon.) that just means "a whole shitton".
For example, the idiom is used in historical records:
《史记·封禅书》："然则怪迂阿谀苟合之徒自此兴；不可胜数也。"
《Historical Record · Book of Fengzen》: "However, the strange and pedantic people who flattered and cooperated with each other have flourished since then; there are countless of them."
