And then Antagon never appeared in the issue again

This is when Buddy and crew recreated the universe from one "our flesh doesn't know"

Tbh, on their own, the feats performed in Vertigo are really not that impressive. It is only when in the context of the greater DC continuity do some of the Vertigo feats become very significant.

What makes vertigo feats impressive is the use of flowery language in describing their cosmos. That's why majority of the time people say the top hitters are from there. Sometimes there even nonsensical like when daniel hall came from beyond the keter, like what? Or a house that contains infinite realities within its walls😂😂
 
There are multiple different Trees of Life within the greater DC Cosmology. There is one in Vertigo, There is one in ABC, there is one in Doom Patrol and there are a few others. They are not all equal in nature. While they all ultimately lead to a Tier 0 God that exists beyond Keter, The Tree of Life in ABC is definitely the most impressive with its depiction of God beyond it being equivalent to that of Atzmus as it is beyond the duality of the finite and infinite.
 
In the last issue of Swamp Thing 1989, it is mentioned that the universes of the Pre-Crisis multiverse can still be accessed even after COIE. This shows that universes and even multiverses still exist via Hypertime even after getting erased.

The best you can argue might be using like some "Superman's stronger than ever before" statement to claim Supes is stronger than when he did it, but that isn't the most solid argument. If you can gather like a lot of feats to support the rating maybe but until then imma press the big DOUBT button on 1-A or above Superman.

On many profiles, not just for DC, characters often have feats below their rated tier level as part of their AP justification. The Archive of Worlds definitively is not a Low-1C feat, it is just there as a general Superman feat to fluff up the profile.

Im not trying to debunk it, but do we believe a statement without action is valid enough to put in the profile.

Unless we agree archive of worlds are 4d then earth and its human will be 5d in existance and qualified for current rating.
 
The archive of worlds at best is 2B. As I said, it is just there to fluff up the profile. Not every feat on a character profile is equivalent to the actual AP tier. Personally, I think that any feat on the profile should be something that can provide evidence for the accepted tier as such lower tier feats should not be there.

This is almost every WN and LN verse they doesn't get pass universe level with 0 planetery feat but fan wanked them complex multi and high outerversal+, there are so many I can name here atleast vertigo is part of DC larger continuity and can stand on it own without it(maybe not as high). And has some really impressive feat in lucifer(creating his own multiverse as mentioned in nirvana connecting with the original if one fall other fall with it), sandman(Red king destroyed millions of universes with Dream ruby while running them in simulation to find a perfect reality", Lucifer destroying mansion of scilence with his presence which may hold infinite realities, there maybe more impressive feats, like lucifer finding and traveling between countless multiveres and even going inside "source" and ignoring it as something not really important.

When the site diminished mathematical frameworks it was bound to happen. Yes l agree with @PromptedElephant641 point, that the feats become even more impressive for vertigo when combined with the larger DC continuity and vice versa as well.

Looking back at the tiering systems change, points such as this were brought up. To be clear though in other verses it is about how true/valid a feat or statement is while for DC and marvel works which have over 60 years of writing and more it is about consistent said feats and statements are.

Imo 5D (higher imo) is consistent for the higher end spectrum of heralds

Any of the 1-A ranges is consistent with the SoTG

Darkseid and "greatest of all time" do not mix together.
