External power or Temporary power are common in DC, otherwise they cant be written as a hero in the city. Tdk also got power from external, and also anti crisis wonder woman.
Ww need whole living things to get her anti crisis ww. And to have the power she need to put his lasso to the forge world that rich of tenth metal, the substance inside every living things. So when she put lasso to world forge she able to tie everything with her lasso at the same time. This is extreme situation external power but she have it in her profile. At this point she needs whole characters and more + world forge because she cant tie everything with lasso 1 by 1.
We also planning to make king omega Superman profile, supes get that power from another character. And doomsday collected that power by countless planets, realities. Which is also extreme situation external power and that power fades, Superman will lost it at the end of time.

Even if its canonical we can apply that logic to Fortnite as both FORKNIFE and Marvel/DC treat their stuff as canon

Superman was externally ascended to a much higher level of existence in the Sixth Dimension, which automatically powered him up immensely. That is how the DC Comics cosmology explicitly works, whether you like it or not.

If you want to upgrade it using story of superman, you can use scan that world forger want to kill supes and lock his essence forever. World forger also admitted, Superman as a prime version (main earth version) able to survive the trap and kill world forger itself.

All In is good evidence for SoS, yeah. It explicitly referred to Darkseid as an essential primal force that Superman is a direct opposite of, what with him embodying the raw fundamental energy of Hope. Both are fundamental aspects to DC's world and they mesh together like yin and yang.
On a similar note, I just finished Action Comics #554 and I think this comic helps out as further evidence with SoS being a fundamental concept with DC. It shows a world where there are no heroes, no wars, no violence, but humanity is enslaved by an alien race seeking to conquer them. When two boys draw upon the idea of a hero protecting them, the idea of hope, Superman manifests out of nowhere. The heroic concept of Superman and the mythical belief in him makes him manifest in this world where the idea of a hero does not exist.
I'm firmly of the belief that SoS is the way forward for Outer Superman if anyone wants to push it.
