The suits are physically stronger than the robots themselves, but have never withstood their beams on-screen. Even TTM would've been killed by those beams without his tanktop, so the robots are definitely glass cannons.

Oh, did WC Garou damage Darkshine before he caught the punch? I really need to re-read the early webcomic if so, I forgot that part.
Recon just beat me to the point (went back to re-read over the drones-controlled neos comparison), but Darkshine does defeat three machine gods and two groups of neo-suit users, one group of regular controlled neos and one group of sumo-neos, who I assume would be at least somewhat stronger given that controlled suit users can still be quite skilled, like Suiryu and Raiden, and the fact that they're all 2-3 meters tall lol.
What I was looking for was an example of a hero who tanked the beams without issue but took damage from the neo-suits. The problem is that most of the s-class tier characters that went around clowning on the drones either didn't get targeted (like the neo-heroes), dodged them, took damage like Pig God (who got pierced by them, which I find insane) and Tanktop Master.

On this note, I'm looking for a way to scale Psykos to Psychic Sisters Arc Fubuki.
I also completely forgot that PPP could tank the beams, and DS is >> Neo Hero Raiden, who's >> PPP.

Yeah, like I said, they're certainly glass cannons in that regard. Although, it's worth noting that the robots aren't regarded as Dragon level threats, so we might be able to scale Dragon level Machine Gods above them, since, unlike the manga, the Webcomic threat levels are based on destructive power.

I think we can just scale Machine Gods and Neo Hero suits above the Robots anyway since they seem to be Demon level at best while the Machine Gods and Neos are definitely Dragon level
Scaling wise it all sorta works out with the only issue being Pig God getting pierced by the lasers but again, it seems his fat just works far better at stopping blunt rather than piercing damage.

I don't think there is anything in this regard but Psykos is still "Dragon" if that counts for anything. Fubuki beat her in the WC with some weird power-system thing that will probably never be brought up again too so idk...

Nitpicking, but only some are. Most can't fight Demon level opponents, and need mind control boosts to even approach Dragon level.

PPP blocking the beams with what I assume is a non-haxy defense works.
The dragon level statement also works. PPP did defeat dragon level Machine God Slice before Raiden and his goons beat him to a pulp.
A point of supporting evidence that puts the machine gods directly over the drone's beams, although not the neo-heroes (directly), is the fact that in chapter 097- Bofoi declares that his level ten defensive robots... "battled two demon-class monsters ... at the same time, and won". Later in chapter 145, the 'joint defense system is fighting back' and they "didn't even last an hour".
Now, even though there is no panel where a defender tanks a beam, that someone comments "they didn't even last an hour" implies that the fight lasted at least quite a few minutes- long enough for roaring to be heard before Suiko woke up and headed down to the assembly point. Even if the whole back-and-forth were only 15 minutes, there were 4 million drones equipped with cannons. There's no way every defensive drone, the best of which were quite recently comparable to demons, got one-shot by every single beam that landed.
Unless every single defender bot was upgraded far beyond the level 10s from a few weeks ago, the drone beams should be vaguely demon level.

And on this note, I think it's pretty apparent that Drive Knight would scale above them even before he evolved. Aside from being a Machine God and murdering a Dragon level threat with ease, DK was sent in to dispatch Saitama after he killed thousands of them.

I haven't fully updated everything because I've developed some new scaling ideas, but let me know how you all feel about Drive Knight especially.
His scaling is a bit hard to deal with, because I'm 90% sure Pawn alone is stronger than those drones' energy blasts.

Regrettably, I think I have to say no for the Webcomic continuity.
In chapter 147, PPP specifically says "thanks to the angle-bristle armor I immediately grew, I increased my resistance to slashing attacks". For some reason, ONE seems to be really conscious about the difference between piercing and bludgeoning damage in this arc.
I think we can trust that WC Bristle armor is likely slashing exclusive because PPP notably does not use it when Raiden and his boys are beating the hell out of him. He's clearly and consistently smooth in chapters 150 and 155 if you look. I lean even harder on it being slashing specific because Raiden using his palm strikes on PPP seems like a callback by ONE to their first fight when Raiden said "Alright if I can't grapple you, I'll use palm strikes".
Hey, did a full re-read of the arc starting with Kuseno's death just now.
Found one instance of a hero face-tanking drone beams but taking damage against a controlled neo.
Tanktop Master blocking drone beams vs getting repeatedly stabbed by neos we've discussed.
Mumen Rider tanks a beam to save Lightning Max (what a chad he is), but is defeated with low difficulty by controlled Suiryu.
Far more dubiously, the super-sumo working under Raiden are not neo-heroes and the robots seemed to fire in their direction- Raiden personally gave them all neo-suits, so while they could very well be in the neo-database, they also might not be. As the soda pop boys note in chapter 150, "[the robot drones] never fired even one-shot at us." Feel free to ignore this one, but I felt obliged to note that these guys are not on the neo-hero official roster even though they do get controlled.
Further, further supporting evidence for machine gods >> drones comes from this statement:
Machine God Eguro says in chapter 147: "don't lump me in with those disposable robots. They are just tools, we the [machine gods series] exist to eliminate irregularities that obstruct our plans."
However arrogant Eguro might be, it's straightforward that the Organization wouldn't invest all these resources into these teams + give them special AI if they aren't categorically superior to the drones. Eguro's statement comes amid a raft of like five statements I can't be bothered to find that the s-class were expected to survive the initial drone assault.
Finally, a statement to support Controlled Neos >> the drone beams from Amai Mask in chapter 149: "I'm the equivalent of a dragon level monster and my ribs were shattered in a single kick! Their power is a completely different dimension from before". This is building on the idea that the drone beams can't be that much better than the demon level monsters MK tested against his level 10 bots, if they are stronger at all.

Sorry to keep quoting nonstop but I think Black S can be trusted when he says: "some absurdly strong guy is disguised among them"
Unless Drive Knight was using his tactical transformations while still disguised, or he unveiled himself to Black S (why would he?) he presumably just stat-checked Black S in a way that made him go: wow, this guy is far beyond these drones and their beams.
I would strongly support scaling pawn above the drone's energy blasts. Perhaps more directly, the statement Eguro made about the machine gods existing to eliminate irregularities (AKA things the Organization knows the drones won't be able to beat) doubly applies to Drive Knight since all the other Machine Gods are based off him.

He was antagonising him and had a significant speed advantage. Garou was not physically overpowering him to an extent that can be considered toying with him, nor was he portrayed as going easy. If anything, Garou's frenzied here, and yet SADS is still capable of blocking his strikes.
TTM would've been heavily injured without his costume. I don't think this is applicable to anyone for now, besides the Neo Heroes whose spears hurt TTM.
The rest is fine or debatable.

I wasn't challenging your interpretation that TTM's tanktop may have buffed him specifically in this instance or even to resist fire damage. Give how PPP's bristle armor is stated to resist slashing damage specifically and how someone like Pig God is extremely vulnerable to piercing damage, this instance gets complicated. While I don't have any particular faith in TTM as a reliable narrator, tanktop magic does seem like a real thing in the manga so I'm 50/50 on whether his statement is truth or delusion.
I just mentioned him because he's one of the few characters that took levels of damage from both the drone beams and neo-heroes specifically. I think he and Mumen might be the only ones.

I completely forgot, Suiko's scaling is completely outdated. Since Genos and Mirror now scale to 16 kilotons physically, she'd actually be 64 tons of TNT (City Block level+).
Suiko is also very far from S-Class level in both power and experience, meaning the top A-Class and presumably Demon level threats would scale above her.
I know I'm 11 days late on this, but I implemented a lot of the SDS scaling and have some gripes with it, particularly the 1st Demon Mark multiplier. Feel free to DM me if you want any new points, or clarification, or anything.

Lol it's really hard to be in this fandom and avoid seeing anime content, I guess that's on me for returning at this point. I've pretty much seen season 3 through memes complaining of particular animation errors
