4kids censorship:Zombieman's fight will be butchered and at this pace fortunately they won't get to ruin Psykos
"I defeated Zombieman. I will now send him to the dungeon."4kids censorship:
Void was not offscreen fodder. The hell you on about? At what level for you think OPM will be at the end.
I think Webcomic may just end at Planet level or maybe star level.
While the Manga was trying to push for the whole multiverse thing it will be significantly higher but also it seems we may not get multiverse stuff anyway since Void got retconned back into being offscreen fodder.
It would still be 4A because it resists blast attacks even with great damage and I think the divine beasts should also be 4A technically since they are among the monsters that blast and co face even if they practically minimize them to God's petsVoid was not offscreen fodder. The hell you on about?
Dude got back up from saitamas punch and one-shot an above Dragon level threat easily.
Not everyone needs to be Cosmic Fear Garou level.
what chapter is her off screen development?A full 1:1 now would be a massive mistake considering it would result in things like Wavygaza having her character development happen in an offscreen talk with Child Emperor lol
I read this sentence out of context and was wondering if we are discussing Hollow Knight now for a moment. Empty Void really feels forgettable.Void was not offscreen fodder. The hell you on about?
now, will people at least take the AI idea for a bit?Episode 7 leaks are looking promising per usual. Who is ready for another generational dissapointment?
...I will report you for spamming
Did Blue want to eliminate Amai Mask in the webcomic? The chapter is pretty much as expected it's almost 1-1 with the webcomic. Glad the plot is progressing though.
That's a very low bar.As usual better than season 3.
Because he can.Why did Murata put cake on that Hero Association recruiter btw![]()
When you say "AI idea", do you mean using AI instead of JC Staff to animate the anime?now, will people at least take the AI idea for a bit?
I will rather let AI take over the world if it is less bad than to have greed corporations who are sociopathic in nature, and are the reason why OPM anime is so bad (less time/less payment)When you say "AI idea", do you mean using AI instead of JC Staff to animate the anime?
If that is what you mean, then no, never. It is hard to imagine a human disgracing Murata's art and ONE's vision in the way that AI animation would.
And you don't corporations won't abuse generative AI to be greedy?I will rather let AI take over the world if it is less bad than to have greed corporations who are sociopathic in nature, and are the reason why OPM anime is so bad (less time/less payment)
That is fair.also no, i will rather have them use it to help alot in the "animation" (if you understand what i mean with this) rather than replacing them.
again, they are EVIL, i think anyone will recognize that they only care about their fame and money, when the richest man on earth created a AI and also lobotimized so it will lie and glaze him, you know they show how egotist they are.And you don't corporations won't abuse generative AI to be greedy?
fairThat is fair.
If AI is to take over the world, you should understand that it is most likely to take over the world on behalf of greedy corporations. We are not currently sure if truly independent AI (what they call Artificial General Intelligence) is possible.I will rather let AI take over the world if it is less bad than to have greed corporations who are sociopathic in nature, and are the reason why OPM anime is so bad (less time/less payment)

just because of bad actors?also that is not even exactly how AI works even when people say it that way...but i guess people will keep ignoring how it works and always say "it works by grabbing stuff and merging them with other stuff" because it works better for their own idea.If AI is to take over the world, you should understand that it is most likely to take over the world on behalf of greedy corporations. AI represents a new level of intellectual concentration, where all art, literature, conversation, or whatever a particular model is assigned to imitate, is concentrated into one mass of data and then fused into a "new" product. For the near future, the most advanced level of fusion will require massive resources and wealth, so in the near future it will concentrate more and more creative power into the hands of those tech corporations which develop the most advanced AIs.
Even if the corporations do not want to control the way we think, they will passively influence all of us more and more as we use their AIs, because the corporate terms and services will limit what the AI can say about certain topics. Plus, the AI may even prefer some sources or mediums and push these onto the people using it. The more intense the use, the more thoughts will be shaped by the use of this technology.
Obviously, social media and other internet platforms do this already, but AI represents one step further in this direction. And given how monopolised AI technology is, a step towards more AI is often not a step towards democratisation, but towards dictatorship.
AI can be a useful tool for good things... but I do not think it is being used that way. Suppose it is used to animate S3 by Bandai Namco. In that case, it will only destroy the jobs of several secondary/contractor animators who, even if they are bad at their jobs, have dedicated their lives to this art.
If it is used to animate S3 by fans, the fan 'animation' will just get copyright struck if it enjoys any success.
I am very strongly opposed to its usage here.
Absolutely because of bad actors. The AI industry is 99% bad actors, I'm not going to focus on the 1% because the technology can be very useful.just because of bad actors?
Okay, so you think my opposition to AI is incorrect because I am not informed on how the models source what they generate.also that is not even exactly how AI works even when people say it that way...but i guess people will keep ignoring how it works and always say "it works by grabbing stuff and merging them with other stuff" because it works better for their own idea.
it is more because of the fact that bad actors used it more than the definition that people are given it, which i find it confusing, since people hate AI more because of AI rather than the person using it.Okay, so you think my opposition to AI is incorrect because I am not informed on how the models source what they generate.
In that case, please educate me on how it really works so I can have a more informed opinion.
There are many valid concerns to be had about AI. The more AI is used for say, text generation, the more humans lose creativity and critical thinking skills. AI, like any technology that makes life so much easier, has addictive potential, and if people give into this addiction (which they are incentivized to do in many environments), they will suffer by losing the many skills that AI is meant to replace.it is more because of the fact that bad actors used it more than the definition that people are given it, which i find it confusing, since people hate AI more because of AI rather than the person using it.
Okay, so do we have the same notion on how the basics work, that's good.AI basically learns to recognize patterns, like shapes, colors, styles and contexts and through that, it is able to recreate a image based on those parameters (where do you think the machine learning comes from?)
I am somewhat confused on what you think that we believe (we meaning people who oppose serious creative use of AI) regarding how AI works. If it worked the way people say it does, then I don't think AI would have needed to be improved in the first place, because literally at the beginning, the generated images were distorted and weird. Currently, the images are coherent enough to pass as real unless people have a good eye.
sadly that is true, if it was for me, BAN AI from schools completely. There are many valid concerns to be had about AI. AI is not inherently evil, but its misuse and overuse are both bad.
both sound like plagiarism but one seems to favor humanity...or it is speed the problem?because AI learns pretty fast.Okay, so do we have the same notion on how the basics work, that's good.
Where I differ from your stance is on the question of learning- we know that the models use a dataset of images/essays/whatever medium we want to re-create and they are repeatedly shown patterns within in this dataset. I see this essentially as creative plagiarism because the mechanism for "learning" doesn't approximate the human re-creation of art in the same way that animators re-interpret the art of a mangaka.
that seems weird to say considering that, it was known from the start that they used alot of images from the internet to train the models, yet they still looked crappy anyway.I am somewhat confused on what you think that we believe (we meaning people who oppose serious creative use of AI) regarding how AI works.
The generated images at the beginning were distorted and weird in the same way that 16-bit, 2-D pixel art is distorted compared to 1040p 3-d interactive art - there were fewer parameters between entities (AKA the AI might have been 'taught' the difference between a hand and a arm, but it has not been taught to distinguish between fingers), smaller learning sample pools (e.g. less art to steal from) and lower generation rates (frames per second generated/internal edits per sentence).
I think so. You also don't need to spoiler tag it. Webcomic stuff is free talk here last I checked.Did Blue want to eliminate Amai Mask in the webcomic?
That's a very low bar.
Because he can.
Has anyone asked them?Wonder how ONE and Murata genuinely feel about this season and how it's been received.
Sadly, ONE and Murata haven't answered a fan Q&A since before Covid-19. So we'd never get an answer for that reason.Has anyone asked them?
They definitely wouldn't say what they actually think out loud. It would probably be something like "all animation takes time and work and we are glad someone animated the manga for us".Has anyone asked them?
It's a genius way to promote manga. They definitely wouldn't say what they actually think out loud. It would probably be something like "all animation takes time and work and we are glad someone animated the manga for us".
Even if said animation was the most mediocre soulless standard generated slop that could be mustered by human hands with the sole intention of making profits of an IPs name while investmenting the least.

Fair enough.Sadly, ONE and Murata haven't answered a fan Q&A since before Covid-19. So we'd never get an answer for that reason.
We'd also never get an answer because they gave the rights to Bandai Namco, and if they did say something negative... it might have legal consequences. It doesn't make sense for them to comment sadly.
I would say ask instead what the Japanese fan base thinks of the series, which is definitely more researchable. At this point, the hate for Season 3, although it seems based in reality as someone who hasn't seen the anime, has reached a spiral of self-sustaining negativity that will last until the season has ended. I am sure the Japanese fans are not so disappointed because such outrage would go against their culture.
Does anyone have news on the Japanese reception?
Almost all anime adaptations are advertising for the source material, so I don't know about that (I feel like it might actively turn people away from the source material instead). It's a genius way to promote manga.
Either make it so good that people will want to read it, or make it so bad that people will have to read it.
The japanese hate it too lol they aren't blindSadly, ONE and Murata haven't answered a fan Q&A since before Covid-19. So we'd never get an answer for that reason.
