or like i watched the Goku/Beerus fight 1-2 days ago, and would be cool if Saitama couldnt control his new power at first and did crazy stuff, like sprinting from Earth to a random galaxy... then just goes "Oh, I can control it now!!" and jumps back to Earth.
But i wouldnt be surprised if Saitama is the type of guy to just say "lol nope" XD and do everything instantly cuz according to Garou, Saitama has the potential to become the absolute best fighter if he tries a bit

My guess is that it does copy his stats but can't copy the broken Limiter specifically, and because it only copies his power at one given moment, he will just surpass it rather quickly and win without much effort, akin to Cosmic Fear Garou but even more easy as Garou was continuously copying him during the fight.

I mean, presumably the changes in the manga from the webcomic that One makes are genuinely One going “I have a second shot at this story, here’s what I’d rather do”, so of course when the gap shortens it’ll just be closer and closer because… why would he do that for a plot beat he just wrote lol.
