Okay, so this is something I wanted to try. Hope this isn't a stomp. Stain is one of the most nuanced villains I've seen, as I had watched up to just a little past him back when I binge-watched the series. Basically his shtick is he is a villain because he has grown scornful towards the egotistical side of heroes. It's something you gotta applaud the guy for.

Makima... I haven't watched Chainsaw Man, but I hear that Makima is quite vile...

Now, the issue here is Stain can one-shot Makima at any time. What would stop him from doing so? Well, that's where Makima's main ability of TK comes in. The thing is, we gotta start with WHEN she will use it.

"As a result of her being the devil that embodies control itself, she claims that she can promptly control the minds of any life-form she considers to be lower than herself, only beings such as Pochita, who Makima adores to a point where she would call herself a fan of his, and powerful beings such as the Darkness Devil are generally out of her immediate control. In spite of her claims, there have been plenty of other characters that Makima doesn't seem to have been placed under her control before such as Kishibe, Kobeni, the Anti-Makima Squad, etc. This can be explained however with that she simply didn't care enough to place them under her control as their overall threat to her was perceived to be minuscule and never really felt the need to use them."

What exactly would Makima consider lower than herself? If it's physical power, Stain is well above Makima in that regards, with him being 8-A+ against Makima's 8-B. Is it abilities? Directly comparing Makima's blood manipulation to Stain's own, Stain's ability is better by virtue alone. According to her profile, Makima has difficulty of achieving control through blood. Stain only needs to lick the blood of his victim to paralyze them, and the act of doing so is a walk in the part to him. If it's social status, then that's where things get finicky. Thing is Quirks are the most one-trick pony things in manga, so knocking one ability down wouldn't really help against others. See, aside from All For One, the big bad of the series, villains are the way they are because they are largely ostracized by society, like Himiko Toga with her desire for love and her very questionable means of getting it for example. I don't know what Makima's position on the social ladder is, just that she appears to be higher than that.

I think it's a 50/50 here.

Should she choose not to use her telepathy, this is what's up:

"Against opponents she cannot or does not choose to immediately control until she proves herself being able to properly defeat them, Makima generally prefers to stay in the shadows while manipulating or controlling others to perform the battles for her but when the situation is right or when it calls for it, she'll typically use her overwhelming telekinetic powers to quickly and mercilessly end a fight. Only in rare situations against opponents who she deeply respects or/and admires such as Chainsaw Man will she choose to personally engage with them with just her bare hands. However, during fights, due her damage transference contract, Makima generally does not care nor try to avoid any incoming attacks no matter what threat it poses to her."

In other words, she'll choose to play the stealth game instead, opting to instead use her telekinesis as a means to end the fight instead.

I don't see anything on whether Makima can use her telekinesis if she gets paralyzed by Stain's quirk, which again is pretty easy for him to use. I mean paralysis is usually a thing that happens when your nervous system decides it doesn't want to work. If she can, then yeah, I think it would be an easy win for Makima; however, if she couldn't then it would be an easier win for Stain because he could just kill Makima right then and there.

Also, there's this weakness of hers, which will make her get nailed by Stain's Quirk more easily:

"Due to her immortality, Makima has gained a habit of allowing attacks to hit her regardless of any consequences which was eventually exploited by Denji to defeat her with a chainsaw created out of Power's blood which was able to impede her diffusive regeneration by having it continuous run amok inside of her."

What's the deal here? Well...

Both combatants will start five meters away from each other. Speed is equalized. Here are their profiles:

Makima can control anyone as long as she believes she can.

She has no use for Stain, doesn't know who he is, has no reason to mess with him, and I don't know if she can even sense the tier difference.

I don't see any reason why she can't instantly control what she sees to be a normal human the instant the match starts.

Ignoring anything else, let's assume Stain cuts Makima and paralyzes her. She can attack while her body cannot move. She can still fire chains that ignore durability and will allow her to take control, assuming she doesn't or cannot just instantly control him the second the fight starts.

Even if she doesn't hit him with them, Stain's ability is on a time limit and once she's free she just instantly kills him with TK.

Her regeneration/damage transference, which is High-Mid, makes it impossible for Stain to kill her. Even being chopped into pieces wasn't enough to kill her.

Also, there is the issue with speed equalization.

"The combat speed of that faster character is assumed to be equalized to the combat speed of the slower character. Every other speed the faster character has is reduced by the same multiplier. This includes the speed of any attacks, projectiles, reactions, perception, flight, etc."

Makima's combat speed is High Hypersonic+ (Mach 81.48) while her reaction speed scales to Massively Hypersonic+ (Mach 1390.67).

This means Makima's reaction speed is around 17x higher than Stains even with speed equalization. "Reaction speed is the speed at which a character can react to an event or action. This usually only grants a short movement upon reaction, whereas several movements at the same speed switch it to combat speed."

Her attack speed with TK is even higher. Meaning Makima has more than enough time to point a finger at Stain and go Bang if she wants to.

TLDR: Stain has no way of killing Makima through her and she has many ways of killing him.

Do we assume devil blood also has ABO+ types for his ability to work? And if they don't enter a standard human blood type, do we assume some specific blood type for them or does the ability just not work?

Is this a spite match

Stain paralyzes, makima waits it out, stains quirk wears off, makima bang gg

He won't even get the chance to paralyze. He'll oneshot her due to the AP difference and assume she's dead then she'll just regen and bang.
