SMG4/Glitch Productions General Discussion Thread

I'm kinda meh on it.
I'm sure it was well-animated & made in a technical sense.
I've never been much for gangster shows, & the show gets kinda gross & gory for my tastes.
I also don't like the colour choices.
It does seem like it has potential as some kind of... ganster coming-of-age story where a "daughter" rebels against her father & his group?
If that's your kind of show genre, cool, I guess.
Plus, this is what, the third Indie cartoon with a "defy the angels" plot this decade?
I almost like the robotic angels, but there's something missing.

really i think even with a slightly higher distance, it would still be hypersonic, and the bullet speed i used was literally BASELINE transonic, using baseline supersonic gives a greater, but ultimately hypersonic result, just need someone to do the boring parts and scale it for me
i do need help, she dodged it BEFORE IT COULD EVEN BREAK THE GLASS, and im getting lower results somehow

I'm curious if the Angel Storm could be calced in any significant way. Mud claimed it could tear apart paradise lost, and we see Diligence get shredded by it when thrown into it. If it can be calced, it might scale to Breadhead since he survived flying around in it for some time.

Also, overall, loved the pilot.

Glitch made a community post. Youtube doesn't seem to be auto-previwing it, so I'll copy-paste the contents.

"Oh, so apparently the next episode isn’t about hunting. It’s about...office life. Riveting"

Anyone else disappointed by this revelation?

It probably all makes sense in the episode, it could also be that the other stuff is a secondary plot

Just over 25 hours until the new episode airs!

We aren't actually sure what this episode is about.

Eh, we don't know how she/it won that battle, & they seemingly had a piercing weapon.

It's curious that the giant sun robot seemingly bled & had organs.

At the start of the episode, with Olivia, it seemed like whatever Guinevere was being pulled by had "blue blood", & it seems like employees of... whatever the amusement park's name is, seem to have that stuff... affecting them?
Maybe people in general with their trash dumping?

Personally, I wonder how often we'll see Guinevere's idyllic perspective. They've dived into the darkness with little signs of exiting it so far.

....Come to think of it, the big sun robot threw a dome through the air, right?
Surface area mitigates how much of that Frankie/Frank/Franscesca/Franklin (Only by Sparky, AFAIK.)/Frank (Only by a worker of Sparky's, AFAIK?) & Andi/Andrea (So far, only Guinevere & the creatures/space animals have called them their full names, albeit, seemingly after "rebooting" based on the ending.) experienced, though.

The "creatures" (called so by the official captions.), & "Space Cat", "Space Tapir" & "Space Penguin" by the credits are curious. When Sparky's in a room of the ship(?), we see them approach off of a countertop & descend to the floor, in their glowing, vibrant forms, then Franky hears words from them that... help her decide what to do.
We then see their somewhat... shoddy, less vibrant-looking toy/construct form get picked up.

So:

A. Frankie is really messy & the toys/robots were on the floor to begin with, & them being on the countertop &/or descending from that was the delusion. (We see them get picked up, so it can't be them being on the floor that was the delusion, right?)
B. They're on a boat, & despite no tilting/turning being shown & the surfaces being level when they move, we assume they fell off because the boat tilted or something, despite the lack of turbulence.
C. They were real somehow. (Odd. Doesn't seem like a magical setting, & their less vibrant forms seen suggest they aren't animate/functional machines, maybe? Frankie is good with tech, right?)

Frankie has schizofrenia most likely
I agree, & I think that's the obvious answer, & while it's correct, it isn't complete.

If we saw Frankie's delusions, then what is the reality? She's messy enough to leave robots/toys (Which might have meaning itself.) laying around? The ship experienced turbulence that doesn't make sense with what we saw? Or that the robots/toys, although they don't look like what we saw & can't speak, are able to move, & that's how they ended up on the floor.
After all, from what we saw, there was nothing on the floor before we saw them fall to it. In theory, I guess an empty floor could've been part of the hallucination, but Andi picked up them & entered like coming home from a routine day; Even if Frankie wouldn't have had, surely Andi would have, right?
