The Gaslight district Discussion Thread [Spoilers]

Did this not have a thread before? That's surprising.

I think it's worth discussing profiles for this since it is picked up for a full series, plus from the pilot alone it is pretty applicable since they are engaging in combat, dodging bullets, doing some pretty good feats.

and also there is their immortality (what is with Glitch and IMMORTALITY?)
Their immortality is dependent on the Black Hand, which is, as far as we know, a supernatural being that grants them immortality, revives them every time they die, and makes them continue regardless of the damage they receive.
they can still continue even with their bodies being rotten and decaid, their brains being blow up, or even their entire head being gone.
also there is some runes (the Language of the Gaslight district)that says this:

EOIbJhz.jpeg

(Upper left)
The body of he who bears the mark of the hand
Shall suffer injury
Shall feel pain
Shall witness death
But is forever tethered to the soul
Upon injury the body will persist
Bolstered by the mark
It will restore itself
But never to completion

(Bottom Right)
Upon death the seal will awaken
And bind the the soul to the body
Once more
The body of he who bears the mark of the hand
Has become a tomb for his soul
Evermore and Evermore
and as seen in the pilot, they can regenerate (but it is never complete) since in one part, Ken, Mud and Breadhead have bullet holes in their bodies, but then it is seen that they are normal and without holes.
at least, that gives them Mid-low.

also the show is full of runes that had a hidden mystery on them.

Another thing to mention would be the fact that many of them are thousands of years old, actually, 5000 years are just like a casual meeting or having not long be seen.
the Narrator at the start says that earth ended eons ago, either it is just eons in a lot of time, or billions of years.

also, Breadhead seems to be capable of changing his own size at will (he is shown sometimes to be larger than rotlings, and in one scene, he is bigger than a car)

One question, if you want, do you think there should be a page for the Black Hand members?because anyone in the verse (minus Mel, the angel mother and the littler bugs...and angels)has it.

Following because I enjoyed Gaslight, and am curious what we'll have the cast at.
Mel is a half-human half angel, destinated to end the immortality of the people in the Gaslight District.
Ken is his adoptive father, and he is the boss of the smiling dead.
Mud is his uncle (the Older brother of Ken).
Breadhead is younger than Mel and he is a Golem.
Mud can apparently have alot of things hidden on his stomach (like bullets or money).

also the state of Mud is so bad...he is just this:
Mud has abysmal oral health -- he has twenty-eight (28) cavities, eleven (11) abscesses, indurated tartar, gingivitis, periodontitis, and halitosis. He also has oral torus, benign bony growths that grow in the mouth, and oral lichen planus, an inflammatory condition that affects mucus membranes in the mouth. His teeth erosion level is simply described as "it's bad
probably to show how...bad the health is in this universe.

according to Nick, Breadhead is the strongest, but could Loose against Mud if Mud keeps his distance (you know, he is a sharp shooter)and Ken could defeat Mud the same way if he manages to get close to Mud.
Breadhead can beat both if he decides to not hold back

Deservable bump for fellow Glitch folks here.

Also, perhaps we should keep going with this one (some stuff aside) and Knights of Guinevere.
