translation prediction: I think flashy flash poisoned sonic so he was incapacitated and unable to join the cube ceremony where flashy flash killed everyone to escape.

According to Flash, that poison was supposed to kill him but he survived because of gaining resistance thanks to his life style.

Also total tsundere flash. He totally intended to kill him! But he couldn't have just slit sonics throat no, because of reasons... but would go out of his way to poison him despite the knowledge of resistances against poisons probably being widespread considering everyone in the village has the same lifestyle.

What's that? There should have been specialized poisons designed to kill off ninjas? How could flashy flash ever have known????

Well, my only real hope is that he combines / reuses stuff and makes longer chapters. But given how much he is just straight up redrawing, it seems this will again be very different from the previous version.

So, yeah, we're going to be in this arc the entire year, most likely.

The moment i seen this page, i looked for the image of the cube only to see it's not there. Then i looked again to see since i expected it to be there d:

Interestingly, someone else pointed out that the building might be based on St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice.

Great chapter. They adapted FF and Sonic's backstory almost identically to the webcomic, plus the art is back to what it used to be. This backstory was such an important part of their character that I was really sad most of it was left out in the previous versions.
Yall should've known this chapter wasn't going to be long since it took one week to release. But even then, 22 pages is great in comparison to what we were getting before, which was like 14 pages in 2 weeks.
My thing is, why couldn't we get this in the first place? Either way, I appreciate these redraws. Definitely worth it imo.

What if what we got from the last 2024 chapters/after the 2 month hiatus is just experimental to use as a reference for the real one that they've been working on the whole time. The art is too great even for a 2 week schedule. Its like the artstyle before the biweekly schedule chapters

After careful consideration, I decided to forgive One and Murata for yet another redraw. The cov-I mean, the content of this chapter truly highlights what OPM is best known for, and if this new take will give us more Tatsumaki cove- ahem ahem, good storytelling and character development, then all is forgiven

Hey man Hunting a hero hunter with more heroes is likely not optimal. So...

  • Fight takes place outside this Tokyo 7 Eleven
  • Post Timeskip Kyoichiro is used (158 Kilotons)
  • Hero Hunter Garou is used (Starts at 303 Kilotons and can grow further)
  • Neither have prior knowledge (Garou accidentally confused Kyoichiro for a hero, he's having a long day)
  • Speed is equalized (Note Garou can get faster over time)
  • They start 20m apart
  • Victory by kill or KO
