"You gathered quite the menagerie, haven't you? It's a veritable who's who of world leaders and war criminals" The man said, scanning over the gathered faces. His glowing eyes lingered on Yorsha, narrowing ever so slightly.

"And if it isn't my old friend from Egpyt! Looking a bit more alive than I hoped, dragon man~" The man said.

"Hello there, Alfonso. You certainly look less scaredy-cat than last time I saw you." The giant replies.

"Go offer aid if you feel the need to. Otherwise, stay here and get to working on that orbital laser after the meeting," he communicates to Rom.

Deimos nods at Aster. "Of course, if he intends to help, he's welcome."

And at last, @The_man_with_the_Midas_touch arrives. The demon king spreads a welcoming hand. "Welcome, Alfonso! You made it just in time, I was just about to recap things to our other late arrival.

Alfonso notes the room. It's very ornately designed; The demon has taste, it seems. There's a round table lined with food and chairs which some of the lords are sitting at. Beyond Deimos himself, there's also Romulus, Yorsha, Aster, and Kane, along with a new warlord he doesn't recognize, a three-meter brute with a blue coat and threatening-looking blade. Vidarr.

"Well, in any case. As you all know, we're here to talk about Zlata. Her expansion has only continued in the time it's taken to set up this meeting, and I for one don't plan to let her take one more step further. Someone who enthralls the masses with her songs cannot be allowed to continue. And while I'm sure someday the lot of us will have to fight each other, I for one plan to do all we can to see this little experiment through to the end. I hope you all can join me in that fact for as long as it's beneficial to us. There is one more potential arrival, but I would put her more in the "Subjugated attack dog" category than anything else. Let's not worry about her."

He starts to pace the room again. "As I've also noted, Zlata is actively recruiting. Scanning any talk on the internet from citizens in her territories reveal that she's visited owned territory of at least three other warlords. One is that religious nutjob from the meeting, one is the one that sent that mute girl to the meeting, and the other is one that didn't show up at all. I have little intel on them, unfortunately. I have confirmed that Zlata has a multilocation ability not dissimilar to mine, albeit more potent in nature. Her clones seem to be the genuine article, not mere phantoms of her will like mine. Obviously, this makes her a deeply annoying threat to deal with on top of the millions of colossi she can supposedly summon at will. Perhaps it's a bluff, but I don't deal in maybes."

And once this little monologue is done, he sits back down in his chair. "And so! Our orders of business in regards to preparing for this war include allocating resources to our soldiers and each other as necessary, gathering intelligence, and preparing a strategy to deal with her and her allies."

"I can, of course, provide medicinal aid, and I dare say my current primary forces would be quite formidable In various forms of warfare. Though, I don't suppose anyone has a map with which we can determine the territorial extent of Zlata and her allies?"

While this seemed effective in taking out the initial wave of golems...more would take their place almost immediately, their bodies coalescing into a wave of sand and rock that would quickly attempt to smash him underneath their combined weight.

Fin used his power to turn them into glass and then use explosion runes to shatter them.

One mile away, magnetic steel flechette with a mini-nuke attached whirs towards the barrier. It dodges any attempt to destroy, and blows the barrier to pieces.

As the man was using his charges…a skeleton emerged from the sky above, a scythe gripped tightly in his hands. Its eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity, its violet ropes flapping freely behind its skeletal form as the monster descended. Raising its blade, it launched a powerful slash directly at the man's neck, attempting to decapitate him.

The portal closes immediately, but another appears a few hundred meters from you. Christina, a lanky pale woman in black trench coat, appears in the distance. She quickly pulls out a mounted minigun and activates an energy shield in front of her.

Soon, a volley of plasma fires down upon you. It moves like the flechettes fired before, bending space and avoiding attempts to block it to hit your heart. When the plasma hits your chest, it feels cold, freezing anything on impact.

As time passed, more cursed spirits were brought and strained in order to submerge Engulfing Lightning within their muck. A ritual similar to kodoku, in which poisonous creatures are put into a box and forced to kill eachother, with the last one remaining being used to kill a target, or as a good luck charm. In this case, it was performed with several curses, which then were drained to drown the naginata in their energy. It was a bath which would turn a weapon like that into a cursed tool, by soaking it for the gestation period. To expedite the process somewhat, Nakya utilized her own cursed energy, divine power, and the power of destruction she held to add to the solution that it bathed in.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is the point of this exactly?" One of her sorcerers blurted out after placing down a cursed spirit he was holding.

"Well there's a few uses for this after the cursed tool is made, it's a long time asset. But more on the point of the weapon, while fighting Mahoraga, I realized this didn't really do anything that wasn't covered already by Cleave and Dismantle, that is to say, it merely cut. The Musou Isshin does as well, but at least it rends space, this had no special effect beforehand."

“I see, but what will it do?”

Nakya thought for a second, not having been sure, however she quickly realized what it should be, and got to work on imbuing the proper technique.

“It’ll be a surprise.”

In the Plane of Euthymia, Nakya had been hard at work developing techniques and uses for the newfound power she obtained via her self destruction, it was unique, to say the least, even the act of readying to use it caused effects on her surroundings, lifting pieces of the ground or causing strikes of lighting to streak the sky in an overwhelming display of destructive force. As she continued to dive deeper into the core of it and learn more and more what it can do, she was pleased.

Well then, this will certainly be worth the price.

"Uhhh..." Zlata's shifting left and right, walking here and there as she placed her hands on her head. "E-ermmm!" she looks to the top and bottom, looking for an answer that's not even there.

"Madame, w-what has gotten into you- I-"

"Jhason, I don't know! I don't knowidontknow! I. Don't. Know." Zlata's hands were trembling with worry and anxiety. "I... err, I don't know!"

"Don't know what, Madame?" Jhason asked, his face confused as he tried to approach Zlata and calm her down.

"I don't know what's gonna happen! I... I don't know if my hunch is true! But I wanna believe it's true! I want to know! But... I don't know if it's even necessary! W-who will be attacking? I don't know! I just don't know! I don't know when, I don't know how, I don't know where! And at this point my paranoia will kill me before these unknown Warlords come and attack me! So... So, I... I don't know..."

Zlata was panting, her breath uncontrollable, shaky, gasping for air when she needed not to. Her eyes were scrambling to look where, her hands finding nothing to hold on to except her clothes, gripping it tightly.

"Just... calm down, madame. We'll... We'll find a way, just sit there an-"

"Sit here and what? Do nothing? Just... let you all work for me while I'm here naive of everything? Is that what you're trying to say?!" Zlata immediately stood up, her body trembling.

"Rusty called me Naive, Nakya sees me as naive. Heck, m-maybe Maria and Arthur think of me as naive- the whole world thinks of me as naive!" she took some time to think of a way to continue, slowly counting to ease the anger, "I... I wanna prove to them that I'm not just some pitiful idol who doesn't know how to rule her territories! I want to prove to them- to the entire world that I'm not to be trifled with!"

Her body flares up with such esoteric magic, before she weaves her hands in an elegant fashion.

"If I cannot know what will happen, it's simple, I just need to be prepared for everything. Each what-if scenario in my head will be answered by this..."

As she focused her mind into two things: Offense and Defense. One to attack and defend at the exact same time. Thus, she expanded the idea in her head— Collective Unconscious— spreading it across all territories that she owns. Though she had thoughts of placing it further on to her allies' owned places, she figured it'd be condescending and hence decided against it.

Formed from the collective unconscious, a new realm was born. "Metaverse..." she calls it, her territories now fusing with this newfound dimension. "Given Warlords would need to come into contact to place their Signifiers, all that's needed to do is to simply prevent them from touching it in any way..." Zlata explained, looking at Jhason, "There's rules to this, of course:

1. Shadows are to indiscriminately attack any enemy Warlord that would arrive.
2. Palaces are the citizens' safe haven, those who can fight will be equipped with the necessary power.
3. My allies can come in and out, but would be attacked in a case of betrayal."

Zlata sighed deeply seeing this, however, her words that she said rang across her head like a gong louder than anything conceivable.



In this world, people with strong desire to reject something....

"Arggghhhh!!!" a mask— no, more so a bear trap clamped down her eyes— as if hiding the truth to her.

"Are you simply letting this world think of you as this weak, pathetic, little girl? One who cannot even stand up with the help of her allies? I think otherwise, Zlata."

A million voices spoke to her head, their sound cracking and coiling, shattering her very mind.

"I- I'm not-" Zlata whimpered in pain as she fell on her knees, unable to get up.

"Do you think you will simply let them go? What thou see isn't a lowly, defenseless, vulnerable woman. She's powerful, unmatched, almighty, and unstoppable in any way... Don't you think?"

The walls of the room, began to crackle and fizz apart. The pungent scent of the unknown, the indescribably mushed, unexplained and remained to be left for no one to ever witness.

"Didn't you promise to change this world? Didn't you want to purge those enemies intending to just invade them? Didn't you say that? Are you taking those words back? Or are you willing to make them reality?"

"I... agree..." Zlata tried her best to nod despite the immense and immeasurable ago she's going through.

"It is settled then. On your feet!"

Flashes of eyes, mouths, and countless tentacles. The uncountably infinite formless chaos, appearing in and out, like a bulb broken but still functioning. Power fluctuating, increasing forevermore.

Zlata grabbed hold of the bear trap, its cranking sound. Her fingers slipping only for them to sink further than before, causing her to scream loudly in pain.

"AHHHH!!!"

The room— no, the very space around her wobbled and ducked under— as Jhason watched in awe. No words could ever be formed as he stared in amazement. Horror, perhaps? Excitement? No one knows.

"I am thou, thou art I. Thou is All-in-One and One-in-All. Be unbounded by the chains that once beckoned you to sit. Stand up, forge your own reality. Tear this twistedness asunder. Recreate the world according to your dreams! Now, say thy name!"

Zlata grabs hold of the trap biting down at her head, tearing it apart as she stands up, unleashing a torrent of pure eldritch power, all over the world— all throughout reality. Her screams of sheer rejection and rebellion could be heard, shattering the glass as her aura emanated a new person.

With a quick, dexterous motion, he twirled the weapon within his grip, before throwing it at the warlord, the blade spinning rapidly before impaling itself directly into the Fin’s ribs, should he not avoid it.

Rusty, Miles and all those who were using their investiture (or in Miles' case also the low level of Qi that he has) to improve their senses shook themselves to their core, it felt as if the three realms, the physical, cognitive and spiritual were invaded by a newly created fourth realm, which was made clear by the fact that all of reality itself shook.

Miles had learned how to stay focused and sense the Qi with some trouble if he lost his concentration, but nothing more, his body was slightly sealed so he would need more time to prepare and gain basic mastery over the Qi and the initial skills.

Miles called several of his companions, a few inquisitors who had the abilities of complete mistborn and they began to burn a temporal metal Cadmium, compressing the area around them to create a time dilation burbble, this to accelerate the process within which Miles and several soldiers can learn to manage Qi better and because of the Tilatium spikes that were stuck in the Inquisitors' feet, after Rusty used Connect-tek's tech based in Ven-Gha's technology to compress size but maintain effectiveness, they constantly fueled their investiture reserve by stealing it from the planet itself which allowed the soldiers to stretch several minutes into hours by a combine effect.

Rusty, for his part, was meditating on what had just happened, he is a Silver of Infinity(Preservation), he could feel the waves of investiture touching each other to a certain extent, the change in reality requires a prolonged investigation.

"It seems that I will have to go on a visit to a certain human, prepare my Omega guard." He said, several Omega-class ultralinks that had linked with natural elements and were annexed by megalinks followed his master

Rusty pushed Connect-tek and everything he knew about ultralinks to the limit, slowly building his personal ship, with shields capable of preventing anything from entering (Except teleporters/portal creation) if it did not have the exact frequency, as fuel he charged them with anti-matter engines and weapons of these same (I have already used a charge to know how to make anti-matter in a stable way)

He killed La Diosa and stated to make her surrender her territories. This, she had a grudge and wanted to kill him. I requested her to be an ally and she agreed, I sent her a "calling card" as means to relay the information to me as well as added protection through the use of the Metaverse." Zlata explained, "Should the probes and spy be effective in gathering possible information, I'll relay them to you and Faqih— our other ally— to make some sort of counterattack."

A great power sweep upon my body, my soul and body shudder uncontrollably. It feels like I was back at Phantasmagoria, helplessly crushed by the mere aura of an eternal.

And yet, this feeling is more powerful than them. Calling upon rejection and rebellion upon this reality, a thought similar to that of a Chaos Eternal.
