Death Battle Season Ten Discussion Thread (1) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Tbf I've heard alot of indie bands that sound better than some "professional" ones but the point itself that RKF makes is dumb, I (and probably alot of you) don't watch DB for the music, I don't like Hedge of Tomorrow but I would straight up lie if I said that it wasn't one of my favorite episodes from the previous season

Interestingly, there are some interesting features of Dimitri in the animation:
-Dimitri's Areadbhar being broken (but not completely destroyed) may be a reference to the Durability system in FE and Atrocity greatly costs Areadbhar's Durability.
-Dimitri only uses Areadbhar weapon during the battle, and we know that he's skilled at bow, axe, sword, lance and so on.
-Dimitri dodges sword attacks from Berserker Armor Guts but is hit by a punch, which is likely a reference to Swordbreaker.
-It is clearly shown that Dimitri's attack is effective against Guts' armor, likely a reference to Armored Effect Null.
-Dimitri knocking Guts to great height before jumping high and landing attack is likely a reference to Three Hopes, a musou/warriors game.

Q1. Which one of the three houses and army (Church included for the army) would you wish to join the most

Q2. Which FE character do you actually want to see for Death Battle right next and who would be the opponent

Q3: Which Berserk character could actually come next for Death Battle and who would be the opponent

Q1: I know nothing about Fire Emblem but I'd join the Church

Q2: Lucina, she has good matchups

Q3: The feminine-looking white haired homosexual dude with a name that I don't remember. He seems to have cool powers.
 
It makes me laugh how the guy above complains about the lack of opening in "Guts vs Dimitri" while 90% of DB's intros are "I didn't like the way he looked at me/She didn't make way for me." ".

Here is a chic and noble ending. I don't know Dimitri, but Guts was in character and the characters were cool.

Now remember how Stitch and Star made a bloody carnage.

Disrespect or not, it's such of massive stomp as Kafka is like planetary to stellar level, doesn't mention the bs higher dimensional haxes because of the Honkai bs (for now she doesn't have but as the story progressed, shs might reveal it)

That said, Kafka vs Makima is trash as well

I mean, are stomps really that big of a deal?

I can't even count on my fingers the amount of times we've had a stomp match. It's pointless to complain about. As long as the episode is good, then it's fine.

I don't see how a stomp is a big deal for a DB matchup, when we watched episodes like Homelander vs Omni Man and Deadpool vs The Mask.

I mean openings in general have been kinda lacking in recent years lol

They already said openings this season wouldnt be good if you hate AntAtom's opening.

Q2: Well, Edelgard is one of my favorite characters in the series, so her vs Kylo Ren would be nice (even though she probably loses).

Q3: Um... I hear there's an irredeemable asshole named Griffith in the series? IDK, let him murder Homelander or something.

I know that, but this one is really unfair even if it's good, like a tier 9 wrestler vs A LITERAL STELLAR DESTROYER (or even universal if HI3 - HSR scaling is become more legit)

As for Omni Man vs Homelander, it's mainly because of Homelander is universally hated + you can take that Omni Man were taking that fight casually/holding back, dunno for Deadpool vs The Mask

So yeah, Kafka vs Alberto will never happened because of that massive gap and with Kafka has more better MU out there
 
Kafka vs a sweaty WWE wrestler is funnier than Mami (Isn't Mami like building level lol? Mami vs Kafka as stompy as Mami vs Alberto) and Makima (Makima has better)

I seriously do not care how "unfair" a match is.

There have been dozens of stat stomps. As long as the episode is well-researched, and the fight is well-animated and choreographed, and both combatants are in-character, then it shouldn't matter how big a stomp the fight is.

Complaining about how big of a stomp an MU is when there's been plenty of stat stomps prior is pointless.

It also makes it funnier when it's arguably the most thematic (depending on the connections Mami and Kafka have).

Dude, street to wall level against a literall stellar to universal level, you can't even make a reason for it at all outside of your WWE bias

At this point it's pointless to debate this further so let's just move on or my temper kick in again
