RWBY Vol 9 General Discussion Thread: Multiverse Of Therapy

Yeah. But I don't know what tier that is. We were going to give them tier 4 for creating the Ever After since it had a starry sky, but we see the realm already existed before them. So I don't know what tier simply creating all the acres are.
Well we would have to find out how big one acre is and multiply that by like nine or something. Like, I'm guessing it's large island?

All I am left wondering is what happen to the other people who fell down with Team RWBY + Jaune + Neo? Like do they have a way of knowing how to get back to Remnant or have to now live in the Ever After forever
We saw a ptsd flash back from Ruby's pov and saw them burning when they fell, im assuming they all died in the explosion via being civilizations without aura

Btw does anyone with a First account have time to go through Grimm Campign? I know theres not much by way of scaling but the cast would be good to get profiles for at some point

Great volume in total, had some issues but I really liked the ending. I think this volume prolly has the best ending out of all of them.

As for scaling, most of the things remain untouched but the two brothers creating ever after was totally off lol. I guess no tier 3 or 4 for them since they’re only said to have created “worlds” in the episode. I guess consistent 5-B for them I suppose.

Nah, 3-A is fine for them, just that the 4-A scaling isnt a thing anymore

Also if we figure out how big the acres are we can scale the CC and Jabberwock to that and then scale the cast in turn

Ehhh I think imma press disagree for 3-A for right now based on the arguments unless there is more supporting evidence.

Also correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the GOD and GOL just maintain the acres? Like the GOD was shown eating the plants away, but the land was already there? Also we don’t know how much time it took for them to accomplish the feat so it probably wouldn’t be scalable either way.

Also also why would the Jabberwock scale at all? The thing would like consistently get murdered by the GOL lol.

It’s implied that the acres were made AFTER the gods took up their duties, as each one was specifically crafted with a purpose in mind for its inhabitants.

What proof do you have that it is wrong?
The fact that it was said the Gods were originally one being. That’s wrong. If they got that wrong there’s plenty of other things they can get wrong too. It makes the source of the statement not necessarily trustworthy or totally reliable.

Especially with the source of this statement being “a bunch of humans made a fairy tale about the two brothers” I don’t think it’s valid enough to warrant the rating since we know the humans who made the fairy tales clearly didn’t know about the God’s true origins.

There’s other things I could mention as well.

Please do mention them, because I've already addressed everything you just brought up and explained how it doesnt discredit anything

I’ve seen them but the rebuttals I don’t find particularly convincing. Again the source of the statement is just a bunch of stories humans made up which we know for a fact they got details wrong. That being the case there’s really nothing to say the humans from way back when truly knew what the Gods were capable of or what they really did with their power considering they barely knew anything about their origins in the first place.

The other such issues I have is that the Gods were mentioned to have only created “worlds” after leaving the Ever After, which in this case would more so imply planets rather than entire universes unless clarified. Also since the Gods didn’t create Ever After, there’s again no other actual indication in verse they’re capable of creating such massive things such as stars and galaxies.

And finally even if we do take it as face value and say the Gods did create the universe, we wouldn’t have any clue of how they done it. For all we know it could’ve taken them 13.8 billion years to do it while working together, which wouldn’t entail 3-A ratings unless you’re trying to shoot for a Low 2-C rating.
