If Rick dies he comes back in another timeline, where he can create something to kill Kratos or simply BFR him to some place in the muliverse

The BFR seems to be portal based so Kratos could counter by dodging or using his own portals.

Matter Manipulation & Deconstruction with guns and other devices (Depending on the gun, it either shoots energy or reduces the target to ashes[8]. Had devices that could disintegrate targets as well[9])

If the BFR is portal based then you can mostly forget it actually happening to Kratos, seeing as he has Precognition, ESP, Enhanced Senses and Instinctive Action to avoid it.

What does "Technology Possession" even do in this regard? If it's mental/spiritual he already resists. If it affects his brain, he resists bio-hax from the Fates etc.

"Just works" doesn't cut it if memory is destroyed on a fundamental level. This isn't recovering lost data on a hard drive after deletion. This like destruction of hard drive itself is what Kratos does. Hope that analogy helps understand.
